Ranking
I keep track of my rank from day to day. It encourages me to keep going. It feels like a grade from my teacher. As long as I am improving, I am happy. And I figure I must be doing something right because the numbers are getting smaller. I know it's not that small, but it is down to four digits instead of five! That makes me happy.
And another thing that makes me happy is the people that have been so helpful. I had problems with understanding certain concepts and others jumped in to explain things. Others have taken the time to just encourage me. Even though this is work, I look forward the experience because of some great people. I hope I can one day be as helpful.

Don't worry about your WA ranking; it's just based on popularity and participation, and in no way reflects your potential to succeed with your website.

I know how you feel Barbara. I see mine every day but lately I try to glean every thought from posts to help me understand the how to of this business model. There is so much to learn but I keep hanging in there and I do feel much more accomplished than when I first started.
