I am currently studying the Bootcamp Course 2, Lesson 2 and Kyle spoke to the affiliate link's short link. When I click my affiliate link the short link doesn't appear.

That short link looked so effective, sad it was removed

Thanks for that question and answer as I was the same, when I did the training I wondered about that as it wasn't there and now I know what has happened. xx

Thank you for asking. Learned something new.

Indeed happy to hear!

Hi, I see your query has been answered.Irv.

You need to add the plugin " pretty link lite" to your website, there you can add the raw link and give it your own pretty name

This is my raw link
http://www.wealthyaffiliate.com/a_aid/a1753160/campaign/yoursiterubix
This is my pretty link
http://your.siterubix.com/free

I got that part Loes but even before the pretty link plug in was installed I am not able to see the short link in my Wealthy Affiliate account or any of my Wealthy Affiliate pages when I click the affiliate link button. Am I missing something here? The pretty link is for my website?

I have seen this in the past here on WA, that you could get short links here, but that buttons are no longer here

So forgive me for appearing a little slow. But, when I look above this discussion on my WA page and see the "affiliate" button just underneath my screen name and click it Kyle says I should have a short link along with the very long link. You are suggesting that the short link is no longer present? He guides us in the course 2, lesson 2 on how to shorten the affiliate link using that short link and shows us his short link when he clicks the same button on his WA account. I'm not sure its that serious but, since its a part of the boot camp training I am just a stickler for making sure I am following each step in the process. I apologize for this extended monologue.

Yes, the button for the short link was there in the past but has disappeared

Thank you Loes!

;-))

your question will have a good

I received helpful feedback that my website could use a more attractive header. Where can I review some headers that I may be able to use?

I suggest Canva.com. Make your own or use a pre-made one and adjust it to your needs. Easy-breezy and FREE!

Hi, I agree with the comments below. You could create your own header using paint. Irv.

That's a great idea as well Irv.

Thanks!

Google+ has a "promote your business" section that we are invited to join.

I promote my account in Google+, Pinterest and Twitter and to be honest I get a lot more clicks from Pinterest. I am not comfortable with Facebook but have set up a page to promote one site there. Not getting much interest at all from it. If you do promote your account make sure you don't just bombard them with read this stuff. You still need to maintain the social side of your account and interact with your circles.

I agree with Greg Greer

Personally, I would promote your site and have a link there. Or maybe promote a page for "working at home".
Make it two-fold.

Thanks Greg!

You're welcome.

Let me take this opportunity to ask a question I have been trying to ask, its like the WA ask question is not working. I have some nuisance on my G+ account, and do not see delete button. How can I get rid of these?

Check in the training for G+ accounts. If there is nothing there, I would check the help desk at Google G+accounts.
