Hi friends, I'm getting in my own way and I hate to bother you all but I'm hoping you can give me some clarity.
My niche: Colorful, bold and graphic fitness wear for women

Don't know if you have used answersocrartes.com to find questions people have about your niche for writing informational articles.

I just had to take a peak at your website because your domain name is so catchy. Your posts are really fun to learn from.

I know this was not part of your request, but when viewing your site i have a couple of thoughts.
Do you have an affiliate disclosure.

If you wish you can edit the uncategorized category to be something that relates to your niche. Go to wordpress backoffice hover and see categories edit name and the slug. if two words separate them with a dash.

You might find it nice to create another user using your name (make sure to give the name admin rights (or you can change "admin" to your name, and write posts with that user name rather than admin because your name adds a lot to your site.. To change the author of an existing post, go to your admin area > Posts. Click on Quick Edit > Author and from the drop-down menu choose the new author and click on Update.

It's a great domain name and niche. You need to write articles that target particular categories with affiliate links to corresponding workout gear, along with purely informative ones targeting aspects of fitness, such as diet and exercise.

Thank you!!! This helps me so much!

i would say you do both...
you don't buy the product for what it is, but for what it can do for you....
so how easy is it to exercise in ....
what about yoga...
what about hiit...
or peleton....
and what about after care... how do you wash it and keep it smell free...
can you do thid naturally or are there products especially for this...
what about longevity...what wears the best....
it is a matter of seeing your target audience in the product and going through how they use it ...
get ot know them better by going to forums that discuss this....and interact with them....

Oh my goodness!! You just helped my brain get over a hump!!! Thank you for your creative thought behind it and for giving me a foot hold!!! You are the best!

don't forget to write it down or it will be gone by tomorrow....
have fun

Hey Deanna
Take your thoughts back to the reason you chose this niche and try and answer these 2 questions.
1, Why do you want to help these ladies?
and
2. How do you want to help them?

What problems are you seeing these ladies having and do you have solutions to those problems?

Don't forget, you also have alternatives to 'fitness wear' such as 'gym clothes', 'sportswear,' 'athleisure' etc. that could provide some good keywords yet still be in the fitness wear category.

Hope that gives you a few more ideas that help

You are right, thank you this is great advice!

I would definitely carry on with my training step by step, ticking checklists bottom of lessons, tasks and activities asked of you to complete in order to set up properly and guide you through the process.

However, essentially you are writing more informational posts so that you do not sound so salesy to Google and if there’s a solution, a detailed analysis review post for your visitors to let them make an informed decision whether to go click your links and go purchase the focused item you proposed to solve their issue.

I would try to niche sportwear down to a subcategory starting out, the more focused it is, the better it has to gain traction and traffic. Also you'd want to define who's your target audience.

When deciding on a niche try narrow it down to a more specific niche, you can ask yourself the following question:

So I want to help people with ____________________ ?

Fill in the blank and you are going to get closer to a specific audience.

I would not buy a domain vs carry on with what I have plus I believe it is fancy. Nowadays domains are not so affected by SEO vs writing quality rich content with good choice of keywords, latter of which would rank you in the search engines.

Resource You may consult with https://answersocrates.com/ - You can search what real people are asking as in Questions, Prepositions, Comparisons, in the past, letters and query. It is also great if someone wants to write a thorough research based article.

Other sources include https://Quora.com, https://Answers.com, https://AnswerThePublic.com, YouTube search engine etc.

You may research other peoples work however all content must be originally written in your own words.

Thank you for this article, it's really good. I appreciate your input. :-)

Thank you for the input and the article, it's great! Followup question, I want to help women over 50 find fun and attractive athletic wear that is comfortable. Why? Because I am one and I have struggled to find exactly that. Through hours of searching, I have found great options.

That being said, does the domain matter as much as the content rich informative articles that I will provide for ranking purposes? I'm getting stuck on my domain name.

That's really a great purpose, you'd be able to help them women find what they are looking for. excellent idea and niche subject.

For ranking purposes, I'd leave the domain intact vs focusing on writing quality succinct content worthy my visitors attention and good choice of searchable targeted keywords.

The domain name is okay for now, you can change it later if you like, and then apply the move feature found within your site manager, really easy process.

If me, I would start off writing content for my website, as it takes the bulk and the longest to rank, once your site starts getting traction and traffic, I would start focusing on other bits.

I really like your direction and I have no doubts you'll do really well. All the best going forward and you're very welcome!
