Hey Kevin, thanks for the information. I have not used categories yet but I will try playing with that a bit. Thanks.

It's all very logical so should be a breeze but if you have any questions, just shout :-)

Hi There - I would probably forget pages and have them each create their posts under their particular category. You would create a category for each city.

You would have your home page and then in the menu add links to each City Category which, when clicked would display all posts from that city (category).

Going through the training for Wealthy Affiliate and it talks about reviewing products. This sounds like a great way to sell. The problem comes down to money. I can't afford to

Use the product, or at the very least, do a good complete research.

I do a lot of research on the product, try to watch videos and read articles on it, then rely on my general knowledge of the product (for me that's guitars). If you can't get your hands on the product to try it out the most important thing is researching it until you feel comfortable reviewing it, because you want to give good info and you don't want the people that read your review to feel like you're lying to them.

That is what I'm worried about. It's hard to back what you say about something when you've never used it. You're actually relying on what other people say. Thanks for the reply.

I wrote a short blog on this subject Steve, as I too find it difficult to rely on other people's reviews. This is the main sticking point for me at WA, and is one I've yet to resolve.

I know that it is tough when you can't actually use it and you're relying on other people to get accurate info. Basically if you go with your gut and try to be as honest as possible you should be fine. Just think about what you would like to see in the product and compare that to what is actually featured. Everything we're doing is opinion based to some extent so even if your opinion differs from someone else doesn't make your review incorrect.

I am a little bit torn. I tend to write decent enough when I just pour out my heart and soul in real life type situations. I tend to use cuss words and talk like I was just hanging

I know what you are saying Steve, and I do sympathise. By all means write as you wish, as there is nothing worse than feeling that what you may write for others might feel contrived and not representative of yourself. That said, if you think that people may be offended by cuss words per se, then try and avoid writing them. The English language can be used to accommodate most styles of writing, without sacrificing your personality. The pen is mightier than the sword, as they say.
I hope this helps.
Kind regards,
Alastair.

Thanks for the advice.

Interesting. I like your style. Thanks for sharing. Maybe I'll have to turn my girlfriend on to your site. She loves her cheap wine!

Right on!

Be yourself. It might scare people off, but it will resonate with a lot of people as well. You can't target every single demographic. There are people who will connect with YOU. Be yourself, you are great at that, and you'll be successful.

Thanks for the reply. I'll keep that in mind.
