I just got through publishing a recent post. It had a lot of stats and data included in the post, but the stats and data were relative to the article. I couldn't change the wording very much. I did add my personal thoughts where I could.
When I first submitted the request to be published I got the red flay, this may not be unique and it gave me the warning.
I tried a second time and I got the congratulation message. It was published.
Am I okay for getting the post published and not violating uniqueness protocol?

So doing it the second time just told the system "do it anyway".

You want to be careful and reword content so it's not considered duplicate content.

Hi merlynmac, thanks, when I reword it, how will I know if it is okay for uniqueness?

I'm not sure after it's been posted. Have you considered using site content to crest it anew and just deleting the old one?

I think grammarly offers a way to check but I don't know if their free version does.

Hi merlynmac,
Thanks for your help. I just went through the whole thing and reworded it to fit my own tone and style.
I noticed in a lot of facts or data the English was not worded very well or it was too wordy. So I fixed a lot of that to make sure it reads better.
It seems like if we use other info from other sources, we need to make sure it is written out correctly. A lot of stuff is just words thrown on a screen and not edited properly or very well, to say the least.
I learned I need to always check how something is written before I include it in my posts.
Thanks for your help. I am learning more and more.

Great!

Yes, when I do my research a lot of my content comes from other sources but reworded as if I were talking to on of my friends in my own words. The information is the same, just presented differently. The only time I have duplicate content is when I quote someone.
