Accumulating a number of posts. I would hate to lose them! What is the best way to archive and save our older posts for both WA and our sites?

Hey Christine,

We have no say as to what happens to our older WA posts, but you could always update them whenever necessary.

As for your own older posts, it has always been recommended to keep older posts updated so that the information offered is relevant.

Should the update be a substantial amount of information, then you can even update the date of your posts: Should a post become totally irrelevant, then you could delete the information BUT make sure to redirect the post to another of your posts with similar information offered.

In this way, you keep your visitors updated and you make Google very happy that you do not have stale information offered anywhere on your website.

Hope you find this helpful.

I have a spreadsheet for all of my WA post URL's. If you use 'Site Content' then all of your website posts will be there.
Are you concerned that if there is some kind of 'glitch' within the platform that you could lose everything ?
You could always copy and paste your articles onto a file on your computer.
There is also 'backing up'

I like the idea of the URLs. Good idea. I will add that to my admin Excel too!

Thank you Tj. It does make life easier when you're trying to find a specific post. While we're here, seems a pefect time for a 'follow'
Good to meet you.
