"Revisions" is checked at the top but I now I don't have the option of seeing what seeing ANY versions saved. HELP

As I write a post, I periodically click update to save it. The one I am working on now was nearly complete (almost 500 words). I clicked on "update" and now it shows that I only have 115 words. Is there any way to recover what I've lost??? Please help!

I figured it out and found my latest version. I will share what I did. I went out and ran some errands. I came back with a clearer head and figured it out!

Hi mpgoode. Sometimes, just walking away and thinking about something totally different can really help. I used to stay up late into the night trying resolve various issues. Now, I just step away, get some sleep, and usually when I return to the problem I get it figured out quite quickly. Pulling all nighters just doesn't work for me like it used to :-)

Glad you got this fixed. This is why I always type my posts *outside* of wordpress, then copy/paste into the editor when I'm ready to publish.

Hi mpgoode. Post the link and I'll be glad to check.
There is an option below the WP editor, that shows previous versions. Do you see this?

Hi mpgoode. Make sure 'revisions' is checked under screen options at the top of the WP editor page. If 'revisions' is checked at the top, you should see the option to look at previous versions of the post/page. See attached screenshots.
