I've been excited to get a few sales on ShareASale lately. My site is only 8 months old and I'm happy to have generated 5 sales through ShareASale with my very small traffic volume.

HOWEVER, two of those sales (to put that in perspective, that is 40% of the sales I have generated for them) have been ripped away from me. I have had a message both times saying commission voided, "assigned to other partner sale".

I find this extremely disappointing. I've reached out to ShareASale and to both merchants involved, but was wondering if anyone else here in WA has experienced this issue too. It really sucks. I can handle a commission being voided because a customer returned something, but if my click generated a sale that stuck I feel a bit ripped off to lose the commission.

That does suck!

"assigned to other partner sale" doesn't even make any sense.
It will be interesting to see if anyone else has had problems with them. I'll keep watching here to see.

Just another bump in the road

Yeah it's strange isn't it! I hope someone can shed some light for me.

That sounds bad Emily. I've only just joined share a sale do don't have any real experience with it. Jim

It makes me feel like I can't trust the sales I generate. I know each one has a 30 day period before its locked in and I don't have a problem with losing a commission due to a customer returning a product, but I really don't like what's happening here!
I'll feel better if I can understand it.
I hope you go forth and get great sales with them without experiencing this issue.
