So I published a post a few days ago and can add more to it as page two or more ideas that link up first page. Not sure how to handle this.

Do I add to end of first post, (would be after conclusion and social media icons) saying something like
'Hey I have more ideas for you!' check this out read on.....

Or do I start brand new page, new title, but link it up with first page? like have back links etc, it's to do more ideas for 'Fathers day' in crafting for kids.

Hope that makes sense. Appreciate views.

Hi

You can edit your posts anytime if it relates to the same target keyword. If your post becomes lengthy, then I would include an anchored table of content, so visitors can choose which content they want to focus on.

If it doesn't relate to the same target keyword, you may then start a new post with a new target keyword.

You can edit all except changing the URL, if the URL changes then it would be a new post to Google.

Great thanks for the link, I may have to view it a few times, until it sinks in, knowing me I prefer the very easy solution, that's why I stick with Elemnetor lol , thanks for commenting :-)

Thanks Abie for the links, I have used menu-anchor in previous posts and it's super cool.
Thanks for the reminder though, may use similar process to guide a visitor to another page, fingers crossed!

You will create as many different posts as you can, all separate with their own keywords. The training covers it all so don't worry.

Or, yes, you can edit the original in WordPress. Google loves updates.

Hi Joe, that's what I was thinking, as it's really an expansion of first post. Thanks for your comment.:-)
