Hello experts, I have a question here. I have asked this before, and got an answer, and still not convinced.

We all know that Google love websites with contents organized. With proper outlines, proper headlines of H1, H2, H3 and sometimes H4.

Now, observing things to improve my own writing, while viewing this particular post from Kyle's blog through its source code, I noticed there's an H1 and several H3, but missing an H2.

Is this practice OK?

It looks like you can hop around the h tags depending on how you want to block and parcel up your content.

It is OK. I use 1 H1 and several H2's and occasionally H3's or H4's.

The title tags are great ways to organize or break up blocks of text. Or to emphasis important points. They help make your web pages easier to read or scan.

The h tags are an SEO tool to break up the article. I use two types in every article.I ONLY USE H1, H2 OR H3 , and it works for me.

Thanks.

Do you sometimes skip an H tag or strictly observing the proper order of having them from H1, then H2, and then H3. No skipping of a particular H.

Because, if I find out that the world is not strict with this rule, then I'd skip some H to, and not follow proper order, just like what Kyle did in that blog post.

I don't have a rule, I just do it, like Kyle did in his post I sometimes leave out h1, sometimes,h2 and sometimes h3 . Usually using it for emphasis, the most important headlines get h1 the least h3
