I have a new website and the first post is almost 2600 Words that I was working on before the latest changes with AIOSEO, Analytics and others. Because of the size it would be very difficult to make it a Static front page. The content follows the thread of the Title very nicely.

What I am thinking of doing if Possible is to break it into 2 to 3 Posts and republish with the same material. But I am concerned about Google claiming it is plagiarism. The main problem is that Google has recognized it and it got some small traction almost immediately.

Another idea, I thought of building a front end post but would have to walk a fine line to stay away from Plagiarism because I would have to use some similar content that might be conveyed as Plagiarism.

I am open to any and all suggestions regarding this Conundrum, Help?

Thanks you in advance for any help that you can provide!

Edward.

You sure have all the perfect answers, no need for me to overwhelm you with more, I've read all of them, and I think Tribu has it correctly.

Looks like everyone below has answered what I was going to suggest. That is a table of contents.

Hey Edward,

Just a thought... but I have a post that is well over 4,000 words, and what I did was add a Table of Contents after 9 paragraphs (roughly 350 words) so that readers could come back to this posts and read each section that interests them.

This way, my content remains on one page... and, when readers return TO that post to continue reading, it increases the popularity of that post.

Just a thought.

If you need a plugin to add a Table of Contents, searching Google will provide you with options.

Personally, I prefer to create my table of contents manually so that I won't need another plugin.

If you prefer to do add yours manually too, then here's a tutorial to show you how to do that when using the Classic Editor: If you want to add your table of contents manually using the Block Editor... see screen print below to find training...

Have created many posts over 2,000 but under 3,000 and have never worried about a Table of Contents, nor would I separate those posts into parts, as they are best served as one post.

Hope you find this helpful.

I received 2 replies and both revolve around using Table of Contents (TOC). One with a plugin and one manual. I am going to wrap my head around it for the next day or 2 to figure out the best way for me to get presentation that I want. I definitively want it to display the whole TOC all the time.

I thank you both very much for the answers. At one the time it crossed my mind and passed over it. The BENEFITS of using TOC is what made me want to do it.

THANK YOU BOTH VERY MUCH FOR THE SUGGESTIONS.

Hey Edward,

I do need to correct my original statement. For the posts that I have created, some as low as 1,000 words up to under 3,000 words I DO actually have a tiny table of contents that consists of FOUR jump links, presented in a bullet point list after the first 250-300 words at the start.

Some how, I never thought of those a TOCs... but technically they are. They're just not labeled as such.

You may find that easier to do too. Again... just a thought...

Hi I would include a table of contents and keep it all together as one post but include anchored relevant content instead,
