If I use a photo in a post and there is a copyright notification along with it, is that okay?

Pixabay is one of the better ones. The only sure way is an image you take in a property you own for landscape. For portrait, you have another persons' permission involved and that would have to be washed through their legally agreed and certified permission!

..actually it depends on the rights & delegations of the originator -- normally, one needs to obtain written permission by the copyright holder for any publication-- suggest you go back to the originator and obtain the necessary legal clearance...

only with permission. each site will list terms. if you can use with attribution, then ok. if just taking the image and giving attribution without designated consent, then not ok.
