I'm having so much trouble with this one post I am trying to include in my website. I created it, went into word press to edit it and add media, but when I hit the update button and view the post, the text formatting is all screwed up. When I go back into word press, everything looks fine. I don't know what is happening. I went over it and over it again yesterday but get the same results. Can anyone help?

Here's my website: https://www.myeverythingforyourdog.com

Look at the post about Grooming. Let me know what you see and how I can correct it?

Eternally greatful for the help!

Barbara

It looks like you need to make your pictures smaller. You can click on them and move the corner arrow to make them smaller so your text will not be cramped.

Hi Barbary, both Gidget and Chance look like wonderful puppies, my condolences for your loss. We're cat people (well, I am but my daughters have been begging me for a dog) and we've gone through a few loses over the years. A few were due to age but one we lost when she was only 3 due to complications with diabetes. It's still hard to look back at pictures. Again, so sorry for your loss.

As for your blog post, for the most part your post looks okay but on mobile, where your text gets wrapped around the image, it get broken up (screenshot attached).

I've had this same issue on my site, including on my homepage. For older posts I just reduced the size of the image giving more space for the text to fit. For the last couple years though I stopped placing images inside of text and instead I only center them between paragraphs. This way I know it'll look the same on desktop and on mobile.

I'm not certain if that's the issue you were noticing on your end, but hopefully it helps.

Jay,

I appreciate your sentiments!
I will try what you have suggested regarding text wrap on mobile.
Thanks for the advise. I appreciate the guidance.

Hi - everything looks fine to me when viewed on a desktop PC.

Doesn't the text look all separated in some places?
That's what I see when I look at it on my desktop a my mobile device. Can the customer see it different from the user?

Please see the screenshot, this is what I see. Short paragraphs, subheadings, images etc. Nothing that looks out of place.

By the way, 34% of this post is copied and pasted from other websites. You can't do this, everything has to be original and in your own words.

https://youtu.be/2paA3ArHzH4 if you are talking about this link and you want it to say MY VIDEO or something. Type the desired text then highlight it and the look for the link button at the top of the window. Click on it and paste the link in there.

I use a nice little button app called Maxbuttons to do it. Just because it looks pretty.
