I am struggling since one week how to do a post on best yoga mats. I cannot try them and have to rely on research but there are so many that I do not know how to categorize them. I started with a list of all criteria like price, thickness, eco-friendliness and so on but did not get anywhere. Can anybody help?

I would also say to do a product review.

Thank you for the tip, I will certainly come up with reviews of the best mats.

I think once you have some reviews you'll be able to get a good basis to start writing some quality content.

Have you had an opportunity to take a look at Kyle's lesson: If you haven't it might be of help. I totally understand what you are going through - been there and continue to be there myself.

so if you were choosing a yoga mat - what would you go for?
color- number of reviews - known name brand
notice all of the above criteria are all emotional - then you justify it with logic
this is how we all buy - emotion first then logic and buyers remorse.
so what you have to do is to look at the mats objectively and with logic.
so thickness - firmness - why what is the reason for the difference
if you are a beginner and don't want to spend much to see if you get on with it - what would you recommend.
what about an intermediate - different criteria
and advanced -
does that mean three posts there
good luck
phil
what other questions come up for beginners
how to clean the mat - how to store it - can i fold it - how do i know when it is worn out.
if you type yoga mat into answerthepublic - you get a load of questions - which you may like to use some of and include either as a faq at the end or answer within the best yoga mats....

Don't overthink it and keep it simple - size, thickness, material, grippyness and price. Just list the criteria that you would look for.

Thank you for coming back! I can keep it simple but I need to have criteria for choosing the best one. This is basically my problem.
