Good day everyone,

As I have not been aware of no follow good practice rules previously, I try to go over my affiliate and referral links. Still, I can't work out how to make the product review lite affiliate button from within the review make no follow as you don't edit this URL as a link. Is any other know of this is possible?

Also, I use to share a sale and have a few HTML banners with endless long codes where I can't see 'no follow' written. At the beginning of the code, I can't even see a URL in the code it says decodeURIComponent.

Can I add no follow to this code?

I was also reading that you should avoid noreferrer

Within codes but rather use no follow noopener instead.

The article mentioned that affiliate links could not be adequately tracked in some cases when you use the first option, and this can cause issues with google analytics as well.

Does anyone have any experience on issues with noreferrer in codes?

Apparently, the classic editor doesn't use noreferrer anymore, but block editor does.

Is anyone knowledge in this and likes to share their insight, please?

Appreciate your insight.

Jude

I believe most banners automatically are no follow, but I am still not sure how you can check this in some cases though.

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you are having a great week.

I though there was a place in the site to check no follow, Jude!

I hope you get it sorted out!

Hi, can you make banners within posts no follow, so that the post can be indexed but not the banner? I didn't know that it was possible so love to know how to do it. Does that mean that could have WA banners in all my posts without Google knowing? Your help would be very much appreciated.

Hi, I think most banners have no follow build in the code, and if think you can add to the HTML of the banner no follow if it is not in the code, I am trying g to find out what I exactly should do.
I hope someone can give some more insight.
Have a great day.

Hi Jude, have you tried the other plugin, did it not work?

Am looking to see what I can find.

Hi Abie, yeah I did, but it doesn't solve these issues, unfortunately. It is a great plugin but for banners is slightly different, I think you have to do coding perhaps and add no follow. I wonder what others do?

The plugin works as it gives you a drop-down when you add a link and then choose no follow; however, when adding affiliate links for a product review, you don't add a link but add the URL in the plugin so unsure how I could do no follow in this case.

I try to get my head around goo practice for the future to do it right moving forwards.
Thanks for stopping by Abie, I appreciate it.
