I am getting ready to start doing product reviews for my website. I already have content posts within my website. I usually write these between a 1000 and 3000 words per post. Do product reviews need to be that long? Can they be shorter as long as I am thorough in reviewing the product?

I apreciate any tips or advice anyone has to offer.

Thanks, johnny

Johnny you are going to have to quit asking and answering your own questions, lol. Get all the info that you think needs to be known about anything you are writing on. When you are satisfied that you have accomplished that you are through. That is the best way to do it, when think you have done the best you can do, it is probably it, when you are happy with your work. Please like my comments, thanks Sruffey.

Hi Sruffey,
You're right. I do answer a lot of my own questions. Thanks for the reassurance that I am on the right track. Doing your best is always the best way to go. Thanks, Sruffey.

I would shoot for 1,000 to 1,500 as to get SEO positive vibes.

Longform content tends to get a higher rank than shortform.

If you have said all you believe is necessary in 1,000 words then go with it.
You can always add to it later as an update.
I regularly publish articles that are less than a 1,000 words and they get ranked ok.
Maybe not in the first, second or third place but certainly on page one.
You will find that as you build out your site over time the search engines will notice that you are publishing regularly and rank you according to the quality of your posts content rather than how long it is.

Hope this helps.

Enjoy your Friday.
