Good Morning Jude,

What a nasty news, really unpleasant.
I remember years ago Patsy had an issue with stolen content/images. She got hold of the owner, who refused to do anything. In the end she had to contact Google. The whole process was rather bothersome. Sorry to hear this happened to you.

Greetings from the south of Spain,

Thanks for stopping by Taestske,
It is not much fun indeed, cost energy and time consuming while I could be working on my site.
I have send an email but doubt I hear anything back and may have to get into touch with Google too. The whole site seem really odd and realy I dont want anything to do with them and will be happy when the image is removed.
It seems like the site is full of click bait and I get redirected to other sites when clicking on somehting.
Such a shame that people are doing this, hopefully it will be resolved soon.
Have a great day.

Jude, that is terrible! Sorry to hear that happened.

Heres what to do.
Take a picture of the website page. Thats your documented proof.

Then, contact website and inform them of the offense. If they don't reply, try again.

Contact the web host. Tell them what happened.

If none of that works, contact Google directly and tell them of the issue.

Here is link that explains these steps in further detail:

Now, go protect your website, disable right click options!

Note to everyone:

Use http://tineye.com to find your image and the names of the people that used it last.

Jude, in your case, take a picture of the http://tineye.com page for further proof.

Even if you disable right click options there's still a way to copy content unfortunately, it is not 100% bulletproof.

Yes, its not 100%, but nothing is...
The point is, there are ways to minimize the loss of your images. Copy protection plugin is one way. I use it, so do others here. Just recently, there was a post discussing that particular plugin.

Besides, there will always be a way around something a loop hole. It doesn't hurt to throw some roadblocks in their way...

Questions are good, Jude...grin.
Plugin name is:
WP Content Copy Protection
By Tyche Softwares

Look at the website footer for contact info.

Go to whois ( https://www.whois.com/whois) and enter the domain name. Owner info will be provided.

However, just like our sites through WA, you won't find actual contact address, it will be a dummy address.

If you cannot contact the website directly, contact the host, who's name will be on the whois information page.

I would talk to Google about this problem and would them I would delete the adult image and replace my original featured image back to the post.
You should be able to delete the adult image, I suppose.
Can you place your featured image back to your post.
Moving further you can instal
secure copy content plug in so people can not copy and paste from your site, although I am not sure about of the images.

Thank you for your help, I appreciate it. I still have the image on my site but the copied it and have the same feature image as me now.
I will look into installing the plugin and take steps to get the stolen image taken down by the site who took my image.
Thanks a lot.
