I just found SEOClerks. They're basically like fiverr except even cheaper, a lot of gigs go for $1-$5.
So I found this worker selling services of writing 7 articles (500 words each) for $5! They claim it's unique and well researched. The reviews are pretty good and Im seriously considering it.
I know I probably wont get high quality articles, but my writing sucks anyway so I dont have much to lose. I just need some articles to fill the blog consistently. what do you think?

It can be an idea to buy some articles to rewrite or take ideas from. I would write my own content, to keep the same tone-of-voice consistently throughout my entire website.
Also one doesn't learn writing from copy-pasting content. But As a resource to write it can be a great idea.
Not sure about quality for 1-5 USD though. You can wonder where they "ripped" it from. If they can find it on the net, as in go to opponent websites and copy paste content in a word document, so can you and save you a few bucks.
I do that.. I check my direct opponents content and check for ideas of what I could write about. Costs time, not money. Depends how much your time is worth on the other hand. If you have little time then buying is a good solution.

You could use them sort of like templates and re-write a majority of the sentences to make it your voice. Also check it in copyscape.com before publishing to make sure it's original.

Is copyscape a good plagiarism checker? Because I just looked up a couple of free ones online including grammarly, copy/pasted some text from my currently blog, and results are all different. Some say no plagiarism found, some say significant plagiarism found. but its all with the same text.

I'm pretty sure I heard about copyscape here and its pretty much an industry standard. I wasn't aware of plagiarismdetector.net, I will check it. I have only used copyscape, it's pretty good in my opinion. Those with differing opinions, please reply...

Does your PLR articles rank well in the search engines? Im guessing the best way is to also put your own spin on it, change some words a bit so duplicate content won't be an issue?

I love to write so its no bother for me to almost completely rewrite an article.
I didn't buy them to make me money, I bought them for ideas, then put my own spin on them.
A lot of those people such as you find on fiverr, freelance and SEOclerk buy those articles as well.
I personally wouldn't give them the time of day.
