Which Two New Habits Will You Pick For 2020?

Want to know one simple way to achieve your dreams in 2020?
Limit your choices. Yes! I know that sound
counter productive but think it of this way. You are beating the shiny object syndrome.
If you choose just two new habits that you will work at this New Year to get you closer to your goals, then you are half-way there.
Why only Two?
No matter how clever you are, we really all have limited time and head space. Be honest, how many thoughts can you hold in your head at one time.
If I say 'don't think of a white rabbit'. If you are one of the people who didn't immediately get a
picture in their minds of a rabbit, you are in the minority.
This split personality happens 20 times a day in real life. Family, work and play can shatter our concentration and lead to us to spinning in circles.
A simple solution is to stop and think now and plan an exclusion zone for your success.
What do I exclude?
This is very personal and only you can decide. Personally, I put a lot of things on my list.
- TV time.
- Surfing the net for non niche related information.
- Joining any other training platform
- Information not directly connected to what I am currently working on in my niche
- Reading every blog in the community (they are fabulous but hey)
- Anything housework or cooking related that someone else can help with
What do I include on my habits list?
- Write or research Content Every day!
- Do a Lesson Every day here at WA
What to include on your life list?
- Time with the people you love
- Your work
- Eating
- Sleeping
- (Showering etc, if you must!)
- Music rehearsals and practice.
I think 2020 is going to be a hugely successful year for many in WA.
So declutter your minds today and make a solid plan to reach for your dreams, by limiting your options!

Dear Lily, my exclusion list would be very similar as yours. I don't watch TV but spend way much time reading WA posts, commenting etc. That needs to be changed.
Funny that I was thinking about every day writing or research just this morning. If I managed just this one thing, it would be a huge step for me. Well, the only one who can do it is me :)

Your sentence just reminded me of the time when I was at university and always put off learning till the last week before each exam and then I found out I was really enjoying that. But it was too late to be able to comprehend it all so I had to put my bets on luck :)

Find at least two quality horror movies to watch each evening. Is that what you meant? Because, like, I'm having way too much trouble finding good ones anymore. I suppose I coul ... wait, you are encouraging us to be wholesome! Oh dear. I'm afraid that won't work for me. I'll study more about my niche and try to remember to hem each day with prayer. That's not as easy as it sounds.

If I had to narrow it down to 2 it would be to ring fence time specifically for working on product creation and another block of time to develop my social media traffic strategies.

I must get back to doing a lesson every day. That is a very hard part for me because I have been stagnant prior to going to level 4.

I try to do even just a half hour on research or writing a post on content a day. Often my content is written in stages, saved and I come back the next day.
