What Will You Do In This Next Decade?
Answering all the wonderful blog posts from our happy community today, made me so aware that a new decade is upon us. It made me ask myself some questions?
- Where will I be in the next ten years, in 2030?
- What do I want to have achieved?
- How will my life look, feel and work daily?
- What about my family and social circle?
- Where do I want my business to be at?
I made a good start in 2010 in finding solutions to some of my personal challenges. I read many inspiring books and although limited for work choices on the farm. I set about polishing my guitar skills in preparation for the day I moved to a city and could work again.
Wow!! Those little seeds I planted have grown into a new sturdy tree in 10 years. Lots of changes. Left the farm, found a wonderful husband, moved to the beach and joined a Jazz trio. Made a whole new set of friends and joined some lovely clubs. I miss my mum in the nursing home and my family is scattered but you can't have everything, that's life!
Did I achieve everything I had planned?
Nope! Much more but in sometimes surprising ways.
When you connect a positive attitude with some action in the right direction, you will be surprised at what turns up unexpectantly.
You have to sow, to reap!
Now is the time!
2020 is a good time to look at the big picture. In 10 years you will be older, Eeek!
Will you be retiring, do you have enough money?
How will your family life look?
Will you be enjoying some hobbies that you can perhaps create income from?
How will your internet business be going? Will you and it have grown and flourished?
Are you a self starter and a stayer?
It's always fun to start something new but can you go the distance? Days become weeks, months and years and go so quickly. Make a commitment to looking back in 2030, over the exciting success in your choice of dreams for your life.
You have a great team cheering you on in WA, all you have to do is ask and participate. Look for the triggers that keep you writing your next website content, another blog and sharing your new-found knowledge to help others.
The rest will come!
Will there be dips?
I can guarantee that the world will not bend to all you want to do. You will have set backs and challenges. But you will find solutions and friends.
There is always a plan B! C! D! 😄
Try not to get frustrated. Ask for help and dig for a solution that will work for you.
There is no such thing as instant success. Any success takes time, thought and action. Consistent action, with a plan. Try to enjoy the journey as 'this is not a dress rehearsal.'
Have a wonderful night and celebrate New Years Eve with a head full of plans for the next
decade, to inspire you to achieve your dreams.

Hi Lily,
Being the eternal optimist I am, I always think my best years are ahead. I'll be 84 in ten years. This means I've got to squeeze more into these 10 years than the last.

Thank you, Lily. Since I am now living on borrowed time, (82) I expect I will have died and gone to Heaven. Not such a bad contemplation. But, to be honest, I do hope I live long enough to accomplish what I have set out to do before that takes place - to build at least 1 or 2 or 3 effective websites - and in the process be privileged to have a reasonably comfortable life, be allowed to help some very worthy causes, and people, and in doing so please and honor Him whom I have served from my youth.

Very good Post Lily.
I can not manager 10 years but will start with 2020;
My goals in 2020 are; Publish 1 post every week on the same day. Offer 4 site comments every week. Analyze my site and make changes according to stats.Continue on My training. The first post will be on 01/20/2020 and each post will occur each Monday throughout the year.
