Using Site Comments for your benefit

There are many ways that we help each other in the Wealthy Affiliate community and one of those is reading each others posts and leaving a comment. A great comment can be so uplifting when you first start writing and also helps Google to find your posts.

So, how does this benefit you;

• You get credits to use for your website posts
• You are helping and supporting others
  
• You can learn by analyzing the post and the website to improve your website

Getting Credits

At the end of the day we all like to do something that benefits us and by really reading anothers post and giving a balanced comment you are sharing the reward. Keep in mind that there is a person on the other end of your comment, make it good, make it work for them. Read what they have ticked for you to comment on and keep it relevant.

Remember, if you can't be bothered to do the right thing when writing comments than why should others give you their valuable time!

Helping others

One thing we learn quickly at WA is that we are all playing in the same pool. Being kind and helping is all part of giving each other a leg up. There is enough internet business to go around and helping someone else isn't going to make you less successful. You may learn something that saves you a fortune in mistakes. So pay it forward and know you have brightened someones day. It will be your turn next. All good deeds come back three-fold.

Learning while Earning

This is my favorite part of writing comments for others in Site Comments. I learn so much from

really reading the post because I don't just skim the information, I consider it and consider the flow and structure of the content. This technique has honed my own writing skills over the past year. I also take note of the page when it comes up. What does the header look like? Is it annoying? Colorful? Too big etc? How long is the post? Was it easy to read?

Do they have share icons that are annoying? What do they use to collect email addresses?

There is a lot you can learn by doing several Site Comments, market research for your business and website structure.

Making money

Now, this isn't something I have done but I gather that you can rank as a professional commentator and earn 50c per comment after you have qualified. This way you could earn enough to pay your monthly subscription and help others with Site Comments.

The only thing I have noticed with a few naughty people doing this is them cutting and pasting the same comment into every post. It's pretty obvious when I have asked for comments on two posts at the same time and received exactly the same comment from the same person. I have come to the conclusion that the only way to deter this has been to Reject the comment. This sends a clear message and effects their scoring to continue as a commentator. This may seem harsh but it seems to work.

We are all here for the same reasons and we all need to play nice. Treat people the way you wish to be treated!
