Signs of Success!
Hi my friends in the WA community, just wanted to share an exciting moment with you.
When I started building my websites 2 years ago I kind of wondered how I would know when I was heading in the right direction. Thanks to this wonderful community I've now come to realize that there are two pointers (amongst others) that will tell you if you are doing the right tasks daily. This website is only 10 months old.
1. Watching the growing organic traffic for your website in Google Analytics
2. Seeing your content indexed within 24 hours.
I just received this email and I was so excited to see the post that I published yesterday, indexed today along with 3 other posts! I seem to be getting one of these emails every week now.
These indicators can really keep you going when each day seems the same and you wonder if it is all worth the effort.

I do understand what you are saying here and it's great to see your progress!
I hope you don't mind me saying the following, which may be difficult to communicate.
The word success to me is momentary. I use it to mean something that I have achieved but inevitably moved on from as in "I am only ever as good as my latest success".
For example, I used to play a lot of rugby ... 80 minutes (with a small break in the middle) of full-on, focused, hard work (albeit fun apparently... LOL). Throughout the match, there were many small achievements (and failures) that led to eventual success for one of the teams.
Oddly enough, the achievements (and failures) were recounted (and probably embellished) for some time after each match while the result (whether success for our team or not) was hardly ever mentioned. It's as if the apparent success was fleeting and didn't really matter while the individual achievements (and failures) were far more important.
I wondered if perhaps that is what you mean in some way by SIGNS of success?

Thank you for that nice comment and here's a gentle test of your English comprehension,,, :-).
A point for reflection...
most of what any of us say, unless specifically technical and accurate, tend to be points of view.
Even specific techy stuff such as the best way to do something in WordPress, for example, can attract a multitude of different opinions.
So, from the point of view of another person, I think often what we say, can be thought of as something that works or sometimes something that doesn't work.
So I tend to think in terms of what is useful or not useful (to me), as opposed to better (or worse). I find that many people here (including you Vasile) say many useful things.
