Have you ever had one of those days?

We all have!

When it pours with rain, your car breaks down, the kids need feeding, the shopping needs doing and then you cut yourself and have to go to the hospital. Yup, yup, yup. Lol

Everyone has moments in their lives when it seems the gods are against them, it's part of the human condition and one that as business owners we have to face head-on.

You have to design a way to react to the times when you just are not going to get any work done that day and maybe even the next and accept the fact. Not fair, you say.

Be consoled that you are in good company. Every entrepreneur has had days when their best-laid plans have fallen in a heap.

So, how do you get your life back on track?

Do you make a list, so you know what is the most urgent task to start with?

Do you take a little downtime (read, watch tv) to reset your mind before diving back in?

Do you reset your goals so that you are starting fresh?

Personally, I remind myself that, "This too shall pass", then I make a list and get back to work when I am able.

Share your funny moments and your plan of action!

Have a good week my friends,

Warm Regards,

Lily

I think we have all been down that road but only to get back on it from time to time.

Thanks for the share, Lily.

I hope you have a great one. :)

Myra

You're welcome Myra.
I try and keep my sense of humour.

You're right, Lily. I think we've all been down that road a time or two.

Absolutely Tim.

This is kind of hard for a person dealing with a chronic health condition. Lots of rest and de-stressing helps. For me, movie bingeing. Some would say its time a wasting but its the only thing that helps force my body to rest. I get exhausted easily. I learn to only do the small tasks and complete them little by little rather than overwhelming myself to the point of exhaustion. Reading an e-book also helps. Like you stated, โ€œthis too will pass.โ€ I say tomorrow will be a better day and force myself to move on. Not an easy task to do. I admire all of the writing you can do for the trainings that seem to be time consuming to write up. I get very exhausted, I have yet to figure out how to get them done. MS sucks but just need to stay focused on what I can do, then rest in between.

I hear you Brenda. Those are my favourite things to do and I always work better after.

You need to run your own race, do what you can when you can. We all have to do that.

I have on many occasions, and I do the next thing that makes me relax, which is listening to a soft mellowing type of music or gospel music with my eyes closed.
The next day I am back to my jolly old self. (unless the situation is prolonged longer.)

Elizabeth

A good plan Elizabeth.
