Am I excited to get this months sales?
I can guarantee that there is nothing like the feel of getting your first sale but getting sales again in the following month is amazing! Like everyone else I tend to procrastinate especially if life becomes busy. So it was lovely to open the email from Commission Factory saying I had sold 2 more guitars and a $49 commission was there for me. That is almost 2 months fees for Wealthy Affiliate, so I am heading towards covering my outgoings!
I felt exonerated when I shared it with my happy hubby and he wanted to high five me.
Not surprising when he has watched me slowly build my websites, writing content at night beside him. I haven't been saying too much but I knew he was watching and appreciated him not raining on my parade.
Today marks a new start as I begin learning how to create Pinterest to promote my blog and create an email collector. More steps in my success progress.
When I think back on all I've learned in the last 12 months and how easy it comes to me now, I'm amazed that I was able to learn it. Sure there is lots of training here and this lovely community but often I had to take a deep breath when I became frustrated and coming back to the hard bits, it has really paid off.
Just wanted to share this with everyone to say it really is worth the time and effort. Don't give up before the payoff.

Congratulations on making more sales, it's always great to hear a success story first in the morning! It's also nice to hear that your hard work is paying off and that you are starting to cover costs.
I believe once the first few sales coming it encourages you to write even more and then more sales follow.

Thanks Roy. It is exciting to see what is happening. It does make you want to write more. I only have 27 posts on my music site and it is making money. Although, each post has been carefully thought out. These sales are from one of my review posts.

27 posts are not very many posts, however, as you mention, if they are carefully thought out posts, this makes a huge difference. Music is a huge subject, so the great thing is I'm sure there are many things to write about.
Just out of interest what type of music or instrument do you specialise in? I used to play the guitar, but unfortunately, I have let it slide the last 10 years. I used to play in the band in the church where I attended.
Just yesterday I was looking to see if there was any software that I could use to play my guitar through my PC. I would also like to do some more training. I know that I am not good enough to play in a band any more, I really need to brush up my skills! It is something that I used to enjoy so much and I need to start doing again. Music is so therapeutic, it never fails to amaze me the beautiful sound a few instruments can make.
