From this definition, you would all agree with me that, at a point in time we need to be students. Let’s look at what is expected of a good student; obviously you would not want to waste your time being a bad student.

The syllabus

A great student acquaints him/herself with the syllabus (es) for the program(s) he is studying towards. That gives him direction on what is supposed to be completed for qualification towards the desire profession.

We may not have exams here, but we have practical life lessons from every little detail we go through. Creating high quality content will help you get rankings; rankings will help you get traffic. Thus the logic. So, mastering writing high quality content will be your focus as a student till you are a professional content writer.

Assignments and Homework(s)

A great student completes assignments and homework. Given the setup of the training material here at WA, we have different set of activities we are suppose to tick off going through the certification levels and the boot camp levels. If you want to be a good student, don’t skip any of those. Complete them diligently and ensure you are aiming for the best mark possible with your submission. In this case, most of the activities you are completing are designed to make populating of your blog or website way easier.

Research

A great student does research. What form of research can you be expected to do here as WA? Most important you will be expected to do research about your niche area for example what is trending? The research you are doing is to help you develop relevant content for your niche. As you go through articles in your domain you learn new styles, approaches e.t.c. WA teaches you to subscribe to Google Alerts, which is one of the incredible tools you can use as a great student, to know what is trending in your domain.

Attends classes

A great student attends classes. The boot camp, the certification lessons are the fundamental classes expected of a good student at WA. As an added bonus class we have the Friday webinar sessions, which I will consider as a live classroom for the dedicated. You wouldn’t want to miss such an important class if you want to be a good student.

Pays Fees

Last but not least, a great student pays fees. I appreciate the setup that WA has, which helps you to have a free membership and experiment with the platform. But if you really want to be a good student and complete your professional studies, your fees here are upgrading to the premium membership so that you become an active student, who benefits from the system.

Being on a free membership, is synonymous to going to school and peeping through the window as others are learning and claim to have been at school. I will apologise if this might come out too strong, but the main point I am trying to drive here is the fact that, you can’t conclude that you are experiencing online marketing training if you have only a free membership subscription. You want to think twice about that. It’s a lot harder to succeed in this platform with a free membership than with a premium membership. Many colleagues that decided to upgrade can testify to that.

In conclusion

I wish you make the right decision and become great students of the system. I know you have what it takes to create amazing results through this platform. Increase and fast track your chances of being successful by being a good student.
