how to clear cache in website
Hi
Pressing F5 will reload/refresh page. Ctrl+F5 forces a complete refresh of a page. It clears cache and downloads all contents of the page again.
Or depending your browser, for example Chrome click the three dots top right, then select Settings > Security and Privacy > Clear browsing data - uncheck cookies and other data so that you do not have to login again to WA or other accounts.
You can also empty servers cache.
Websites > Site Manager > Details > Sitespeed > Empty site cache
However you may do so, if that's what you want.
Hi Abie & @Asuka
I believe that Ctrl F5 (Shift + F5 on Mac) doesn’t actually clear the cache, it just ignores it. As you, Abie explain in your second comment, to clear browser cache, you need to open the option in the briwser to clear It.
That sorts the browser’s cache but there is another cache to clear. It’s the Site Speed cache used by siterubix (WA) hosting.
This can be cleared at WA by going to Websites / then select Details for the site, scroll down and click Clear Cache.
:-)
