That's a bummer but you can still invite millions more...and get that credit.

And that's exactly what I'm doing :-D

Mistakes are going to make you wiser and do things better next time. Don't quit! Keep going...

no way I'm not giving up! THANK YOU for your encouragement :-D

You're welcome. "Keep on, keeping on!"

Sorry no commission. Live and learn. Now you know

Learn from your mistake on move on. No biggie, there's millions of fish in the sea.

O.k, that's a bit of a downer, was hoping to get a good kickstart in this and I really pitched this to her. I wonder if there is anything Kyle could do about it?

You could PM him and see, but I don't know what he would or would not do. I would not count on anything though. It might just be a learning lesson.

Ok i won't bother then by the general sound of it I missed out already. Thanks for your reply.

If the person you led here came in on the general sign up page, you will not receive a commission if and when they upgrade as your link was never involved. Once they created an account in their name, they can't go back and recreate it again with another link and have you get the credit. Sorry!

I followed the wonderful training from Kyle, and went to google analytics, copied and pasted the code in the exact spot that he mentioned. When he showed how to do the test, it do

Hi! Mrs. Stephens I haven't done mine yet, but did watch the video.
If I remember it correctly, it makes a difference if you put www.
in front of your domain name. Which I believe he said not to.
It would be good to double check that video just to be sure.
I hope you get it working soon.

Thanks Jim! I got some excellent advice to deactivate the all in one seo plugin..and it worked!! It's a real quick fix as I think the plugins sometimes overload with different functions which can start to negatively affect your site. Anyway now ya know :-D

You will need your All in One SEO pack though. If you installed Google Analytics in your header AND SEO pack, you can either remove the code from your header, or remove the code from your SEO plugin. But I don't recommend deactivating it.

Unless of course this was Kyle the recommended it for some reason...

I was seriously wondering about that! no wasn't Kyle, but was very helpful and gave me some other recommended plugins that are not as feature packed and should help the site. However, I am nervous to make the next step in taking out and adding things to my site.
At least i know there is something in All in ine seo, that is blocking My Google analytic from working? Do you have any suggestions how to get this working Nate? Thanks a bunch

Thanks for letting me know Mrs. Stephens. It could happen to
my website someday. Take care my friend. And keep up the
good work. And someday you to will see my face. Ha! Ha!

It's totally fine. You can link to whatever you want on your website, and it won't be illegal.

If the song is on YT and you embed the video, that's fine too. If for some reason the video owner is publishing copyrighted content without permission from the articles, THEY get in trouble, not you.

Awesome! thank you very much Nathaniel :)

Certainly you can use you tube videos. If you can transfer them you can do that.

Or actually singers? Is that too broad? It does not involve a tangible product so I'm wondering if that would still work?

I'm actually looking in the singing niche as well...Have you started your website?

I would say make it a bit more specific - what type of sining?

Singer/songwriter (with guitar)
Vocal training lessons
Singing as a hobby
Sining as a career
Sining in a specific style (opera, singing, country, etc)

I know you have experience as a backup singer. Do you think it's different enough from other types of singing that you could write about it on a weekly basis?

how to get gigs
how to improve certain skills
how to work together with others
harmonizing
learning new styles
etc etc

Ok that's what I thought. I initially was thinking either girl groups (harmony) or cover bands/tribute bands but for some reason thought Id be loosing a good chunk by narrowing too much. Would girl groups be specific enough then?

I think girl groups is a great place to start! You can always tweak (broaden or get more narrow) your site later as you grow your business.

Your niche could involve singing, but needs to be more specific and tied to products you can sell. I know there are singing courses online that you can become an affiliate of. You can make your niche Singing help for beginners. Teach some of the fundamentals, do keyword research and run with it!
That's just one direction you can go with it

Thanks for the advice, sounds good :)
