Never thought that I would have a blog.
Between us, this is a top secret project ;)
The first couple of weeks have been a whirlwind. Since school is out for the summer, I have been trying to get as much done as possible. My enthusiasm has bolstered my progress. The tutorials have helped me greatly by giving me something solid to focus my attention on (it tends to be all over the place when I am excited). There are also so many helpful people and interesting posts. The first few days, I came across a lot of posts of people that weren't doing so well, but lately I have been finding more and more success stories.
Yesterday, I found some sites that also focused on my niche and it was like looking at the sun. It was definitely helpful and made me realize something about my niche that I did not understand before.
Starting out, I did not understand the importance of having a narrow niche, but it is becoming more and more clear to me as I develop my site. I hope to have a website that is rich in information and easy for people to navigate. When I looked at the keywords that I got after the low hanging fruit lesson, they were all over the place. I knew that I could not create coherent content from that. By narrowing down my niche, I was able to find keywords that had some order.

I remember how overwhelming it seemed at first too, and same with gaining an appreciation of niche in time...I've seen the same mixed results being reported by people, lots of different reasons for this too...
You've a great focus, keep up the good work and we'll keep your secret, until google puts you on page 1 :)
