I really pretty much love everything Koean, Japanese, and Chinese. Should I attempt to narrow it down or would this work as a niche? I have extensive knowledge about all three,
Hi, Ashley welcome aboard, it can be a little overwhelming choosing that first niche, the key can be to just take some time and just pick one thing.
It can be easy to go to broad, it does create extra work in the beginning phases, better to go with one plenty of time to spread your wings when your site starts to develop.
So narrow it down to one say Korean....................
That sounds extremely broad. You will really need to be more specific. When you say 'product' What do you actually mean. Jim
Hi - yes, that is too broad. For example, somebody searching for Korean skincare, wouldn't expect to see articles on Japanese anime and Chinese cuisine on the same website. You are targeting too many audiences.
I really want my niche to be something about asian products but is that too broad?

What a great direction for a niche. I'm fascinated :-)
As others have said, Asian products in general is too broad but more than the products you're thinking of promoting, let's look at it from a different perspective.
Who is the audience you'd like to target?
Are you targeting a Korean audience, or a non-Korean audience who would be interested in Korean products and culture?
Narrow down you audience first, and then learn about them. I'll often find my target audience and go into forums and social media groups to learn more about them and what they want. If you've narrowed it down to specific products, you can read Amazon reviews and learn more about your audience that way, other things they like, what challenges they might be having with the product, other products they may compare it to, the specific tone and language they use and so on...
At the end of the day though, it's all about solving a particular problem your audience has. It doesn't have to be a big problem like solving world peace. It could become better at cooking Asian food, or bringing a more relaxed Asian inspired atmosphere into your home.
Focus on the problem they're trying to solve, and the products you promote are the solution.
Ideally, the flow would be...
One Audience (with one problem) --> One Website (suggest solutions to problem) --> Products(s) (solves your audience's problem).
Hope that helps :-)
