Some of you have noticed that I wasn't active on Sunday and not until late on Monday. I have a mild case of the flu.

Yes, I got a flu shot. I always get a mild case of it anyway. I have an immune system disorder called Common Variable Immunodeficiency (CVID). What this means is that my body does not produce enough of one of the immunogammaglobulins that is necessary for the immune system to function. In my case it is the "g" immunogammaglobulin (Ig) that is not properly produced. The doctors feel, given my medical history, that I was born with it.

There is nothing I can do as far as natural remedies that will improve it, but I do receive IVIg infusions every 4 weeks. The IVIg is made up of Ig that has been taken from thousands of pints of donated blood. It is a very expensive treatment, but it is well worth it because without it I would not be able to fight off anything at all.

Being ill this week, I was not in a mind set to be able to do much writing. I have trouble keeping my thoughts straight. I didn't let that stop my forward progress though. I have gone through and searched for trainings done in areas I feel I need improvement, especially in the area of SEO.

I really love the live training that is done each week by Jay (@magistudios). If you have not attended any of the live trainings on Friday (perhaps Saturday where you are located), then I highly encourage you to do so. You can find the Live training replays in the left hand menu under the red tab for yearly membership. There is even a search bar for live trainings that is at the top of that page. Just enter a keyword or two.

Jay and Kyle are not the only ones who have done training here though. Many of our more experienced members have done training. You can find those by searching the subject of what you would like to learn about with the word "training". That will bring up the training first, but it will also bring up blogs that have been done on the same subject.

I knew that these options were available, but I had never used them before and I regret that now. There is a wealth of information out there for all of us, if we would just take the time to search for it! (Using the search bar at the top of all Wealthy Affiliate pages.) So, instead of writing subpar content, I learned a lot about SEO along with a couple of other things. I made the best of it!

I have taken what I learned and applied it to my website and my rankings (for each article I have written along with my landing page) have all gone up! They are all on the first or second page of Google, Bing and Yahoo! I made the best of it!

As I age my CVID gets worse, which I knew was going to happen. That is just one of the many reasons decided to start my own internet business. I simply cannot afford to be out much in the public. was lucky and found Wealthy Affiliate on my second try. The first try was with a company where you had to pay for upsell after upsell learning very little in the process.

I am making the best of it! How about you?
