Please Tell Me, I Really Need To Know, Do You Care About Me? Relationship marketing
Ok, Drama queen over.
But the point is not.
Are we showing we care in our business?
And does this apply to our business? Oh yes. Big time It can be the difference between having a hobby or a business.
Are we building and growing our interconnection with our readers? I mean, are we sharing the love and interest? Are we finding the way to connect?
I wonder if our readers ask that all the time. Where is the love? Where is the value? I am guessing that is a resounding yes. And we can tell by our bounce rate..arggh don't talk about it.
But seriously, if we are not willing to give value, we are not being honest about really wanting to be in business.Does that make sense?
I asked our community to define Relationship Marketing and I got back some really great answers.
And one was a quote that his Dad used.. its truly lovely. Want to hear it?
OK here goes,thank you by the way Robert, for letting me use this!
"My Dad used to say that there's a reason for having two ears and one mouth. Listen twice as much as you speak and in listening, place yourself in other's shoes, and in speaking say those words that bring peace to their souls."
Wow right? I mean what is more profound than bringing peace to our souls and truly listening? Isn't this just a lovely mantra to live by?
And that takes us to another important concept. Growing our site authority. It takes steps and patience. We have to make sure we are connecting with our readers and that happens through building relationships.
And the one way to start building that relationship is through content that is communicating in a very genuine and loving way to our readers .
So let's do a check on our content... ready?
1. Is the topic relevant to our audience?
2. It is easily understood?
3. Can it be absorbed in a way that is engaging?
4. Did we humanize each blog?
5.Are we responding really promptly to our comments with individualized caring answers?
6. Do we maintain a sense of honesty and transparency on our site?
7. Do we realize that the more quality content we share, the more authority our site will rank in the Google god?
So yeah. Do you like me?
It is the question we really need to ask .
So how do you handle this? And do you think you are doing it well?
If so, we are waiting, you just gotta share it!
One thing about our beloved WA community, we have so built in the caring aspect that it comes naturally to us when we interact. How brilliant that Kyle and Carson saw that as a needed prelude to understanding our business, yes?
So if we can do it with each other.. its gotta be so easy peasy on our sites, yes?
Ok, I am really wanting to know.. how do you truly show you like your readers?
I can handle a bit of love too..grin.
And just in case I haven't' said it yet this week.. You are all really rocking in your quest to success. I mean really rocking! And I am so grateful we are connecting.You make my world sing.

To me, this exact aspect is what's actually the best of WA: caring members.
I have been (VERY) pleasantly surprised with the amount of empathy expressed in the simplest of responsess to my posts and comments. You, yourself are one I would cite, but there have been at least three others whose care has clearly come through their responses to me. No, I'm not going to single out anyone else, but I have tried to respond to each of these members in a way to let them know how much I appreciate their support. I've also tried to follow their example and respond to others the way they have responded to me.
Sounds biblical, doesn't it?
But to me, the concept is much more profound than the cliche, and I thank you, Ariel, for highlighting it's use, especially in our marketing efforts.....
It's truly a great community to be a part of!

It is important to take time to respond!!! to people, not just answer people. It you are just going to give an answer, I say, save yourself the time. TALK with your audience, let them know you hear them and appreciate them being there. Like I say "with Gratitude and Sincerity" and I mean it!

Thank you for the reminder, Ariel! This is something I feel I can always improve on. Speaking to my readers in a way to show them that I care about them and want to help them and that I'm not just trying to help myself get sales.

I worked in customer service for many years and I still remember this quote, attributed to a number of people so I am unsure who really said it first but it does not matter -
"People won't care how much you know until they know how much you care"
Caring is all about the other person's needs and we demonstrate whether we really do each and every time we open our mouths to say or write something.

Love the quote you used. I have always used a simpler version.
"We have two ears and one mouth. Please Use them in that order"
This was taken from a man I really admired, Steve Shapiro. Sadly he has now passed but his book ' listening for success ' made a big impact on me.
I saw him speak and went on one of his courses, even shared a glass of vino with him.
He spoke a lot of sense. So sad he could not continue to share his insight into success more.

Hi Ariel, I really love your text and the content is very interesting for me. Because I often forget to speak directly and say to the audience what I like about a picture I post for example. So it is about making a connection, daring to show yourself in a way others can see and maybe like. Or not. Doesn’t matter. The important thing is to show and be honest, and with this honesty you will attract. I‘m sure you know RH... ;) by the way. Hi, I am on pintrest a lot, I mean more than any social media, except maybe youtube.
when I click on some post in pintrest to find out the information the image is about, I feel that the person who posted it wants to make a conection. I am sad to find out that it is to a page that has nothing to do with the image and it is just full of ad links that don't make sence.
That is someone who does not want to make a friend, and I look at everone here as a network of knowledge. To teach me how to connect, like I think it was in one of the training videos, write like you speak. That may be a probleme since I know many people who speak but can not get their point across.
Yes, Ariel, I feel I love everyone here, because I don't want to say anything negative about them. Wealthy Affiliate, is different than other affiliate sites because we / I can look at everyones progress, give comments and maybe receive some positive reenforcement back. Giving constructive critisism is good.

Some times that Pinterest post has been hacked or stolen. It happens a lot. You need to ensure they are Rich Pins so they cannot be stolen. I did a training on it.

Really, relationship market, very important, but I think I need to improve and see areas where I can make my visitors feel the value of what I'm writing.
