Noticing a Change in Your Traffic?
Ok NO worries!
Just like retail, when there is something that is going on in the world, or event like a major holiday or the Super Bowl...yup, our traffic changes.
And as the weather for us in the northern hemisphere warms up, people will be ready to see the sun and not sit as long as the computer.
But here is the good thing. If you traffic is changing, that also means you are probably getting a more specific and targeted audience. AND that is fabulous.
After all we would rather have 100 people that are willing to engage on our site and buy, versus 1000 who are just lookers, yes?
So know that while it is inherent that traffic will change, it is not automatic that something is wrong with our sites. Again...LOL. No worries, ok?
Do check these things though:
1. Check your sign ups to our list or subscription list, is that growing?
2. How many unique visitors are we getting?
3. And the best one, how many of those visitors are repeat? Yeah, there is the gold mine.
4. How many comments are you getting ? (using site comments or organically?)
Knowing these statistics also help us to find out how to increase our readership and gauge our flow.
So no frowns, ok?

That is a very interesting post, I never realized that, I don't get much traffic or if I do I don't know where look for it.
Ummm you have probably linked your site to Google Analytics, if so that will tell you all about your traffic. If you have not done this yet. there are loads of great trainings here on how to link. thanks for being here.

I agree...I know personally you can see it from Google analytics..and perhaps just googling the life cycle of traffic flow to a site? I need to ask someone else where to get that info. thanks for being here.
Open a google analytics account and connect it to your website. I'm sure it's in the training here somewhere. Keep going through the training, follow step by step.
