WASH Syndrome
After posting my accountability blog, saying that I want to have ONLY 1 hour to spend in WA, I know I am in trouble
(Here is the blog: https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/ariefwibowo/blog/g...)
I have developed a WASH Syndrome.
What is a WASH Syndrome? It is a "disease" that infected many WA members. It is WA Share and Help Syndrome.
- If you get involved long enough in WA, you will get it.
- If you find useful information and training and start sharing them, you will get it
- If you help members and often, you will get it.
- If you get benefits from WA, you will get it.
- If you reading this blog, you will get it.
There is no cure for it.
I am trying very hard to get to my goals. ONLY 1 hour. What is so difficult about it? And yet, I spend more than that WASH-ing here.
Tell me, please, if you get infected too. I am afraid that I am not the only one!

Seeing you so active in WASHing, you are really entitled to the rank Ambassador.
The cure? I still don't know. :D
LOL I am affected by it too. It's so hard to resist sharing answers and helping others. For now, I'm withdrawing a bit by just Liking the Blog that holds good value and refer to other training/blog that may answer some question better.
Love this post, Arief! I was a big-time WASHer when I first joined. Who can help it? So much to see and learn. Now have found a healthy balance and not in such a rush. Slow and steady...Thank you for this, Warmly, Heather :-)
Shoot Arief ... I'm a WASHer too dude ...!!! Aarrrrgghhhhhhhhhh !!! Dang need to be more like Ignorant ... That dude is more like Mr. Spock! Logical n no emotions. But it's difficult to not spend time, to not answer questions from fellow affiliates on questions we know the answers to bro ... It's WA SH susah hidup ... Hiiihiiiiiihiiiiii ... Servus bro. Apeng.
We all get it. You do have to set time aside for the WA activity. 1 hour may not be quite enough. It is very easy though to spend hours reading blogs and looking at training.
What I have started to do is each morning early I read blogs, like yours, and review training while I have coffee. (for me that is between 4:30 and 6:00 am yes I know that is an insane time but that is me). Then I work on my sites after that (or sit wondering what in the heck I am going to write about today).
But then I get additional time in whenever there is down time. So if I am sitting in a doctors office waiting I read blogs etc on my smart phone. If I am at lunch at my normal job I read WA blogs etc. If I am driving home I read (NO JUST KIDDING WE DON'T USE THE PHONE WHILE DRIVING).
But the point is we have lots of down time where we wait for others that we can use to our advantage. Hope this helps a little.
I am glad that I am not alone. WASH is a good syndrome.
I really have to set a certain time if I want to have a manageable life.
I set aside specific time for that so I have enough time for working on my sites and other projects otherwise I will get distracted
An interesting perspective Arief, kind of cool helping and being helped. Sometimes we just need to have things in balance. Thank you for sharing your insights.
Yes, we have to get a balance. A balance of staying in here WASH-ing and going out there building our business.

Oh no! I am definitely infected too. I am still trying to find a balance.
Good. We are a group of WASHer. Keep it up and also find a balance.
