Who am I?

I feel very excited, starting out here. My initial interaction with this community seems to be positive, and I am ready to get going with rolling the ball.

I usually like to keep an obscure profile online, but here's a little bit about myself. I am a high school graduate with no funds to go to college. The internet has become my go-to, where I try to employ my writing talents in whatever way I can to earn a foothold. I am one of those people who finished school with flying colours and in an explosion of firework--I was good; very, very good--only to come to a screeching hold with the realities of the world finally starting to dawn on me.

Now, five years on, I still haven't lost my competitive streak. I plan on realising my dreams of becoming a pschyciatrist, one way or the other. So, as Brainna Randall said, "I'm going to soldier on."

I am soldiering on.
