Wealthy Affiliate + Social Media is a Must Do

Just a quick post here from someone who is fairly new to Wealthy Affiliate and for those of you that are in the same boat as me.

I am not in the "Make Money Online" (YET!)

Why not? Because from the very beginning, throughout the fantastic training, Kyle and the Wealthy Affiliate experienced members always said pick something you are passionate about and go with that.

While I am passionate about making money online, its DOGS that are my true passion so that's the super competitive market I have chosen. (I do have some reference to Wealthy Affiliate on that website).

While I have made a few sales each week for the past 2 weeks or so through my reviews and visits to my website, I have made 7 sales this week through groups and pages on Facebook that I am a member of by subtly giving them links to the articles I have written.

Start Building Trust & Friends

For anyone new to all this (Like Me) one thing you cannot do is join these groups or pages and spam the hell out of them from the start.

Whether they are a public group or a private group they will either ban you or refuse to publish your posts.

And the same goes with pages.

If you solely want to advertise your website and reviews/articles you have written, then I would highly recommend your own page.

The group I started is purely for discussions and posting of pictures, I very rarely make any reference to my actual website. This group I created to start building trust, friends and showing my experience and knowledge with dogs.

My Facebook page is where I will promote my site content.

A Page or a Group?

I started my Wealthy Affiliate journey about 4 months ago and from the day I decided on my niche, I created a Facebook page and a Facebook group, which I have linked to each other.

When I say I have them linked, this means anything I post on my PAGE, I do have the option to share that within my Facebook group.

FACEBOOK GROUP

The 7 sales I made this week have all come after a few months of constantly engaging in conversations within a few public and private Facebook GROUPS, never trying to sell, promote anything or send them to my website.

All I have done is help answer their questions, get involved with their chat and post a few pictures of my dogs and me and sent them invites to join my group.

As I said I started this group about 4 months ago and have gone from 0 members on day one to about 240 members now and that is steadily increasing and as such is building my authority in this niche.

So remember if you are going to join some groups within your niche (Which as a newbie I can highly recommend) spend a couple of months simply engaging within the group.

If you show a genuine interest and knowledge within the niche you have chosen I am sure the sales will come at some stage.

FACEBOOK PAGE

I started this at the same time I started my group and this is where I will always link to the new articles, blogs and reviews I do on my website.

All I am really doing here is getting people to click on the post and send them over to my website.

I really only use my page as something to get website traffic and promote our Facebook group.

Wealthy Affiliate Has Given Me The Knowledge

Without Wealthy Affiliate I know none of this would have been possible.

What I have learned from so many members here is out of this world, and I would like to thank you all for your patience with me, especially you Partha!

The more I do with Wealthy Affiliate I know that a while down the track I may join the other knowledgeable marketers and also promote this amazing platform through another website creation.

So from one newbie to all you others GET SOCIAL!!
