I Must Not Stop, Ever
Hey WA friends!
This morning I was curious about my stats of the last days since I had posted 2-3 articles. I was proud of my productivity in these last days.
So I went on GSC and checked out a couple of keywords I was getting impressions from but no click. The average position is not particularly good (between 20-45) which means between pages 4 to 7 of Google.
But I saw in GSC that there was only ONE keyword that I was getting impressions from all the keywords I had chosen for my different articles. So the 1000+ keywords I'm getting impressions from are not keywords that I chose. I felt a bit sad about this since I thought I had chosen good keywords. Anyway, I'll give them some time to come in, I'm not giving up!
Even though, I was a little more curious about the article I posted on Saturday August 3th. In one day I saw that I got 61 impressions with an average position of 129.6 for the page, which is not a big thing.
I searched in Google for the keyword I was trying to rank for this post even if I didn't see it in GSC and guess what, I found my article on page 6, position 2 of Google! It's not page 1 but it's coming I feel it!
So my conclusion is, since GSC is like 2-3 late on its update, probably that I started ranking for this keyword yesterday or this morning! And I published this article on Saturday! I have difficulty to believe it.
I feel my website is maturing a lot and I start to see the light in the tunnel. It's still very far, but it's there. I must not stop.
Thank WA, you are awesome! Definitely the best course I could find to continue learning. While all my friends decided to go to university to study in enginnering I decided to chose WA. Can't wait to see where I'll be in 4 years when they'll finish their course... Anyway, that was not the point here, I have nothing against universities but I'm happier here and that is what is important. :)

UPDATE for this afternoon : I checked for another keyword that I chose and I'm ranked on page 1, pos 2 of Google! It's not a keyword with a lot of traffic but I guess it will help me rank for other keywords. Thank you everyone, you are all the best.

Never give up on your dreams. Dream bigger, dream stronger, dream of the unreal until you can make it real. What you believe becomes your reality. Don't give in to the negative inside voices telling you you cannot do it..how do they know? Past performance is only a small fraction of your true potential.
