Newbie question here. When using FTP in FileZilla, what are the host and Port names I should be using?

Upon attempting several times to upload a plugin, this is the message I continuously receive "This page isn't working" "ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE"

Hey Austin,
Sounds like you may be trying to upload a zip file. If so... try opening the zip file to see if there is yet another zip file inside that is the actual zip file that you need to use in uploading and installing your plugin.
If so... simply unzip the first file in order to retrieve the inside zip file to use in uploading to your website.
Some developers pack EVERYTHING into the first zip file, so whenever you purchase a theme or plugin you may find this happening again.

Yes, you must first upload/install the Parent theme, once it is in place, you will be able to upload/place the child theme. I also recommend getting a good book on Wordpress as a reference, something like "Wordpress For Dummies" (not calling you a dummy, I use that series of books all the time).

I have used multiple premium themes, as long as it is not a discussion board or something that makes an undue load on the server, it is allowed. I have several different custom-built themes hosted here at WA.

That's a good question. Those sites are attracting people to their sites with their products. You are attracting people to your site with your content. i think it takes longer to make really good money through a blog, but a good blog generates a lot of traffic.
