Thursday Thoughts

Hello Guys and Gals,

Hope this finds you all well.

Thought I would share some of my weekly activities and a few thoughts from my week as well.

The week has been kind of slow at the park, even with the Veterans Day activities in town.

I did have a nice chat with the owner of the park and I accepted his offer of becoming the park manager for the coming winter and the new year. It will be an interesting challenge and great education for the future. Wish me luck!

WA Activities!

I have been able to spend a reasonable amount of time commenting on blogs and reading comments here in the community.

I have revisited the first 4 lessons in Level 1 of the OEC training. I'm focusing on restarting my brain and getting back to website building. I'm honestly thinking of changing my focus to a different niche for the time being. One of the reasons for going back through the training.

I have also gone through a couple of training sessions put out by WA members. They were excellent and very enlightening. My goal is to learn something new each day and put what I learn into action.

Early Thanksgiving!

So, what is everyone doing for Thanksgiving and how is it going to be different with the Covid this year?

For my family and I, we are not really changing anything other than when we celebrate.

We made drastic changes to our lifestyle 6 yrs ago when we moved into our RV and left Ohio. Unfortunately, it is not easy to get home to the kids this time of year, so we usually end up visiting via the phone. We do however, go south to my moms for Thanksgiving.

We are actually going this weekend, so we are celebrating early this year. Mostly, due to my work campers leaving on Monday. That leaves me to tend to the park alone.

As a result, this weekend I will be completely unplugging and enjoying my family time with my mom, husband and stepdad.

I really am grateful and blessed to be able to share these moments with my mom and I cherish every one that I have. Even more so after losing my dad this year. We will video chat the kids and grand baby for sure.

Final Thoughts!

I know that life hands us a lot of ups and downs and this year has been a doozy.

Remember that we are not guaranteed tomorrow. Treat everyday like it is your last and do not let any one steal your joy.

Treasure the moments with your family and friends.

Dream Big and build it bigger!

God Bless and I'll see you all on Monday!

I hope you have a wonderful and relaxing weekend with your family! 😀

Thank you Willow29. It was a great weekend.

So very true Annette. Family is so important to connect with when you can. Enjoy your mom and keep up those phone calls to the kids until you can physically reconnect.

Looking forward to see what you come up with regarding your new niche. I am sure it will be super. Talk again soon.

Hugh

Absolutely Hugh, and thank you for the vote of confidence

Thank you for your blog Annette. It was warm and positive throughout and you also seemed super busy. Loves that you are a close knit family. Have an awesome weekend

Thank you so much

You'll be a great park manager. You already do so much already, it's a natural transition!

You have an AWESOME time with your family!

Thank you for the vote of confidence Debbi.

No brainer for him in my eyes. 🤗

The Mobil life, I have a road case I built just for my mobile kitchen, Pressure cooker, air frier, mini-fridge, microwave, hot pot for my morning cup of mud, juicing machines. Generator, camper, bike, four-wheel drive. love it all. However, it is nice to have my own shower, kitchen, and thank goodness for the internet.

My phone is a mini puter, I have a mobile recording rig. most everything I have in my life is able to just pick up and go to the next site, gig, job, house, hotel, camp.

Campfires just do not smell the same out of a fireplace.

Enjoy your holidays, may your family bless you in many wonderful ways that you can look back on in the many years you have coming.

Scott.

Scott that is awesome. We love the tiny living and eventually we will become more mobile. We are grounded in an RV park right now where I work and for right now that is okay.
I plan on enjoying every moment of this weekend. I am not taking the computer on this trip.
Hope you enjoy the holidays as well and thank you for stopping in and leaving your thoughts.
