Planting That Seed

Hello Out There,

Hope you all had a wonderful Tuesday!

As I worked today on various tasks, one being the flowerbeds here at the park, I couldn't help but think about how preparing the flowerbeds for next Spring reminded me of some things we do in our business.

Just like with the flowerbeds we have to lay down a foundation for our business. We begin that here at WA with the training that we have here. If you follow the OEC training, within the first couple lessons, you begin to lay the foundation of your website, thus the foundation to your business.

As I was digging up canna lily bulbs to prepare the flowerbed to receive new flower bulbs, I thought about the maintenance that we must always do to our websites to keep them going. Our websites are never completely finished. There is always something to do, whether it is updating information, managing the adds or just giving it a fresh look.

Just like the flowerbed, sometimes we have to restructure to make room for something new.

I also thought about how we can sometimes get overwhelmed. Someone that is completely new to the business can get overwhelmed pretty easy with everything there is to learn about this business.

Not unlike my poor flowerbeds that were overwhelmed with flower bulbs. You sometimes have to thin out the ones that are unnecessary.

Meaning, don't try to take on too much at one time. Plant the first seed and then let it start to grow before you move on to the next one.

Then, as you plant each seed and let them grow, in the coming days and weeks or maybe even months you will end up with a beautiful garden or budding business that you can be proud of.

I guess what I am trying to say is, keep planting those seeds. Even if you do not see the results right away, soon they will grow and bloom into something spectacular.

Hope you all have a wonderful evening and a bright morning.

God Bless!
