So, here we are. The first full week of November is in the books.

A lot has happened in such a short week.

  • WA rolled out the new-look and overall remodel
  • The USA Election happened
  • The weather has been amazing outside
  • The leaves have fallen from the trees, for the most part
  • Veterans week here in Branson is in full swing
  • And Hallmark is playing Christmas movies

2020 is proving to be a year for the history books for sure. It started out strong, then we got sucker-punched with Covid-19.

If this were the only thing to happen, it would have been enough.

But no, 2020 was not finished. She then ramped up with large uncontrollable fires across our beautiful country.

Then, we have endured an amazing amount of unrest and division in our great nation, with no end in sight for that.

2020 was still not done. We have had some major hurricanes to deal with in parts of our country and I think I just read that there was an earthquake in Massachusetts. It was small, but that is not a common occurrence.

Top that off with the craziest election in my lifetime.

All this, and that is just in my small part of the world. I know it has been insane everywhere, and that makes it all the crazier. It's been like a bad sci-fi movie.

What's Next

We are now in the month when folks are thinking about Thanksgiving and Christmas. We reflect on things that we are grateful for and we hope that Christmas will bring the things we have dreamed about all year.

2020 is going to be a bit different during the holidays for sure, for a lot of people. We are going into this season with a bunch of uncertainties and mixed emotions. Some of us have lost loved one's, either from the pandemic or due to other illnesses and tragedies.

My hope is that we as humans can come back together, even if for only a brief moment, to realize that life is too short and that there are things that are far more important than money, power, one's opinion, and ego.

Thank you to WA for not only providing a place where people can come together for a common purpose, but for providing a means for people to learn and grow and to improve their circumstances no matter what the outside world is doing.

There have been many evenings when I've come here to close out the rest of the craziness. The community here is fantastic.

While I've been personally stuck for a while on which way to go with my website, I've faith that as long as I hang out here I will figure it out.

This week, I am returning to the training to kick start myself back into gear. It is time to get back on track and focused on the task at hand.

What is that task you ask?

Well, for me it is to start being productive with content again. I've not been consistent with that and I need to be. Also, I've a ton of emails to catch up on here. It is time to start writing down my game plan.

I also realize I've so much more to learn. I think a lot of my issues stem from lack of knowledge. So, the plan is to dive back into the training and refresh and relearn what I need to do to succeed. I've felt very overwhelmed lately.

Monday is a new day!

Sorry, this was a long one. Thank you for allowing me to air my thoughts. May you all have a blessed week this week!

We're all in that same boat!!! I sure wish it was a cruise ship!!! 😎
I could use one of those right now but I don't think that's going to happen very soon. We have to always look for silver linings though. We are here and healthy. Have an awesome week!

Thank you Debbi. here is always a silver lining we just have to find it.

Its certainly been a bus year and of course all our thoughts are with those who have lost loved one's either due to COVID or any other way.
The US certainly know how to stir the political pot with Mr Old being replaced by Mr Older, I just hope he has the impact that you need.
I lost my job 2 weeks ago and now am faced with an uncertain future here at WA, as I have to prioritize what stays and what goes. Moving to France was a big gamble and we will only find out over time if this was the thing to do However, saying that, we are more settled here as life in the UK is manic, and not the best place to be.
We all hope for a quiet Christmas period and hope that 2021 will bring some joy.

That is a tough one, but I think that you will find a way to make it work. Just remember that WA is a means to improve your circumstances and not just another expense. It may take some other sacrifices, but it will be worth it for sure.
I am glad that you are least in an area where it is a bit more settled, as that will make it easier to focus.
So, set your goals and get busy, as I am going to do the same. Have a very blessed week/

Thanks Annette. It means a great deal to me that the community are there and I know something will happen or I will make it happen.

Well, the election isn't finished, so we shall see, Dave. Media doesn't call elections. That's all I'll say about that! I agree--hopefully the holidays will work their magic and bring about a suitable close for a horrendous year!

You guys over there have gone through so much this year. Christmas and Thanks Giving is a time to enjoy and hopefully be with your families. All the best!

The whole world is and has been going through stuff. I pray that with the coming season we can heal a bit everywhere.
