Hi everyone, I just started here in Wealthy Affiliate. So I decided to create a blog to share it to all on how did I find this affiliate program and whats my first day experience.

First of all, My name is Glen, 28 years of age, an IT graduate last 2006 at Informatics Computer Institute, and I'm currently working as a system support engineer. Aside from maintaining system and network, I also do search engine optimization (SEO) like directory submission, social bookmarking, and other SEO strategy. I'm not yet a SEO expert while still learning on how to page ranking (PR) works.

How did I find this site - Wealthy Affiliate

Well when I was working on SEO, I found an ad banner about a gaming job which they claim to pay up to $30/hr just playing video games. Completely insane right? But this leave you a question. Why does it cost money to get a job?

So, I immediately look for a site review which I came across Steve review that gave me enough information to say No on this quick money scheme which they only after is your wallet. At the end of his review, he provided an alternative in making a real business. I click on his link and introduce to me the Wealthy Affiliate. He created a review for this website and what his job as an Internet Marketer.

What triggers me to join is the way he briefly explained on how to see the value of internet marketing. Aside from that, he include the benefits of being a starter member for FREE...

My First Day Experience

Here I am now, getting a good start on my online business. At first it might just a website but during the training process that I will take here in WA, Definetly I would start to earn a profit and that were the business comes in. My first day experience is really a kick start. After creating an account, I immediately set my profile image and description which I'm glad to know its also a part of the 1st lesson in getting started page. From the beginning, you will know that you are guided step-by-step and don't forget to take note what you learn especially the lessons that you got from them. Especially this piece of advice:

Piece of Advice #1: Do not be afraid to ask questions!
Piece of Advice #2: Take action on what you learn!

That's a good advise that we need to remind ourselves. Upon taking the lesson, make sure you complete the task by ticking the check box which means to say that you fully understand the course. On lesson 1, you will completely understand your membership and the functionality of the site like leaving comments, interact on live chat, create a blog, like a post and other stuff...

What's next? Proceed to your next lesson and Always take action.

Cheers!

Great blog post Glen, you seem right on track and sharing your journey. That helps all of us. Thank you, I appreciate you.

Your welcome. This will remind me why I got here. :)

Welcome to WA. And any question let us know

Thanks! Mostly all the members here are very helpful especially on the live chat.

Yep. I indeed chat is very effective!

Hi mate, thanks for the post - I find it interesting how you got here as I'm (like most of us) on the look out to introduce others to WA. Funny enough I came here by a similar rout, looking at a review of some other on line scheme and then being shown WA - it would seem a good strategy to find 'recruits'. All the best, Steve

Yes, its a good strategy and it really helps when you create your own review for WA.
