I would like to know what access do starter members have within WA.
I know they get vlogs from Kyle, I know they can get into the hubs and now only 3 lessons.

But won

Hey Andre (NSG),

Agreed that there should be some "official" announcement of exactly can and cannot be seen/done, but in the meantime just test it for yourself, i.e. open a new email account, open a WA Starter account, and then you'll know for sure (and being the helpful dude you are you can also blog about it).

(Plus, take some screenshots with your "starter" account, works really well in reviews. "This is what you will see as a Starter and THIS is what you will see as an ugraded member" <---- So, your review can have screenshots that both starters and upgraded members will see.

I'm guessing they can still see the centre dashboard for blogs and questions, etc. as I've had a few starter member comments just yesterday on one of my blog posts.

100% agree with you about being honest on our reviews and the message that we convey to new starters or those looking to join.

However, I also like the "more compact" Starter package now.

For years, we obviously lived off the word "free" and it was indeed possible maybe 6-7 years ago to actually make some decent money with just the first 10 lessons, some YouTube training, reading member's blog posts, and a siterubix website.

However, that is pretty much impossible nowadays.

The reason I like the "less stuff for starters" more than ever is because we can finally move away from talking about THREE membership levels (I've NEVER liked the initial joining called a "Starter Membership", it's NOT a membership, as there is no monthly or annual rollover).

So, for me, if a review simply states you, "You can log into the platform and spend as much time looking around as you wish, but in order to start your online business you will be required to upgrade".

This way we will actually get FEWER initial starter referrals, but the upgrade percentage would be much higher (and let's face facts, everyone wants upgraded members, as having 10,000 "free" starter members a month is just a vanity measure).

Partha

Thanks

I would like to know too

Thanks seems from what I can figure out more has been taken off them unless there are glitches be good to know for all including paid members.

I hope people will still want to join premium with all these changes. I'm hoping to grow in my promotion of WA this year

Well premium or premium plus offers much for any starter who is serious to build an online business.

That is the best option to take.

just wondering if there is an issue with Live Chat as the last comment I see was by Phil 5 hours ago perhaps it is longer than that now.

Or is it completely dead and qui

It has been "dead quiet" here all day yesterday, Andre.

And, you're wondering?

Well, you were NOT alone. I too checked in here when receiving no notifications yesterday, and when clicking on the bell icon (top right nav bar), I could see just how quiet the platform was even in the afternoon.

Thanks Trish always good to hear from you.

Yes unusual to be quiet for over 5 hours but testing it out with the same question showed it was just dead quiet.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend

Andre :)

Thanks for the heads up.

Larry

No probs it seems it was just dead quiet so all good now.

Well without Phil we just run out of things to talk about Andre. ;-)

Mel

Yep it certainly was quiet there
But active now a bit anyway

Looks like you kickstarted it!

Yep but the batteries are probably not fully charged and may take some time.

At least we know there is no technical issue as if we need more LOL

thanks Phil

Oh I see that too. Maybe you can write in the live chat to test it out if it's working as it should be 🙂

i will ask the question now perhaps if you see it you can reply

No problem

Thanks just asked which went through
as normal so now waiting to see any responses.

We know that we can cloak our affiliate links to make it look cleaner and easier to read using plugins like Pretty Links or even Bitly for example.

I am curious to know

Andre - i tend to keep this one pinned at the left of my browser to quickly copy and paste links into to see where they are going to take me....
as Partha says there are tons of these online ....
https://redirectdetective.com/
some take you through the whole chain - others just show the end link....
have fun....

Thank you Phil very helpful indeed appreciated.

Hey Andre,

I asked ChatGPT your question. See screen print below for the answer...

Hope you find this helpful.

Thank you Trish for that appreciated.

Hey Not So Giant,

There's always "a tool for that", LOL!

There are literally 100s of cloaked link checkers online. You can try the one below, simply place the link in the box that you think may be cloaked and forwarded to an affiliate link.

Press enter, and it will tell the "real" website it is linking to, i.e. NOT the affiliate link, but the actual destination website.

Therefore, if someone has for example purchased a domain name (ths is how we used to do it when you could get .info domain names for $0.99) and called it makingmoney .com and then cloaked their WA affiliate link, and then forwarded it to the above domain, when you look in the below checker it will say something like:

makingmoney .info leads to wealthyaffiliate .com

Then you know that the "original" url has been cloaked and forwarded (you can also test bitly, tinyurl links, etc.)

Here's the site:

https://sitechecker.pro/cloaking-checker/

PP

Thank you will check it out along with other checkers.

As you know, many types of url shorteners will provide a shorter link.

Recognizing where the link should take you is the best way to tell if it has been shortened.

By looking at the link, you can tell if it has been shortened or cloaked by the way it looks.

Instead of seeing the link as a direct link + affiliate code, you will see the 4 or 5 digit code to the right of the /.

You can tell that Bit.ly links are cloaked because of the bit.ly end tag.

Pretty links can be modified, for example, your domajn link is used with either the 4 or 5 alpha numeric digits, or the actual product name can be used.

Mydomain dot com / aweber for example.

The URL shortener tools help by shortening a link that could get transposed or written incorrectly and that could take you to a 404 error or wrong page altogether.

Clickbank adding me to their commission group program
The last three days I noticed something different with ClickBank.

So far I have received three emails from them

Yes, I received that email last night. I just ignored it because I choose the clickbank products that I want to promote.
There is so many shady programs going on that I just ignore those that I am not familiar with. The last product that I promoted for Clickbank shutdown after about 2 months, and I am unable to reach the creators... so I am leery of these illogical emails. I cannot belong to a group that I did not join???

Very true they do have some good programs but most to me are really not worth it unless you do a review that would be the only benefit there. I don't promote much of ClickBank products due to so many low quality as many times as spammy products.

They must step it up or risk beginning to share the same reputation as those Warriorplus programs.

😎

How interesting, Andre.

Yes it is Phil definitely not a scam like the usual ones we tend to see.

I'm a CB member but haven't promoted a CB product for a long time. I'm not getting the emails. Maybe I should promote one and see what happens.

Would be interesting I have promoted one which I still have a post on the other is just a review but these three nothing to do with them thought the commissions are good so many need to check them out and see if it is worth it or not.

I've had a ClickBank account for many years but I am not getting those emails, Andrej.

Valerie

Strange some are not getting them they are in my Clickbank account under the commission group as stated.
Perhaps I might with to click back support and confirm this

It is strange, I agree.
Maybe I'm not getting them due to not being all that active in ClickBank recently even though I have an account.

I am not that active with Click Bank either and this has only just happened in the last couple of days.

Oh!! It is strange. I wonder how their technology functions!!

Yes it is and not sure how the technology works Have just sent in a ticket to their support however they only work m-f today is Sunday for me so it will be a couple of days before i find out if this is totally legit plus asked a couple of other questions like why others are not getting the emails and why I have been included into programs I never requested or applied for.

Guess have to wait and see and once I have a proper answer will update this post.

Andre

Andre - I do not use ClickBank either, however I do get those emails that you stated as well as
Your shipment is on its way....
You just won a $200 tool set....
You have been selected for .....

And others. Early on I sent them to the spam file and every time they come back they automatically get put in the spam file. I empty the spam file once a month of 300-400 emails. I do that for other reasons such as it keeps the cloud some what smaller. Then a couple times a year I clean out the deadwood in the cloud file. Multiple same pictures, old emails, and others. It is an easy way of handling the Distractions and Efficient way of disposing them.

Wish you the best Andre.

Edward

Great you are getting rid of many that are spam-like the ones you mention keep on doing that.
I do the same but this is legit just don't understand why some are not getting the same email and yes they are in my clickbank account when is log in separately

This is not your regularly scheduled spam email. Most of the ones you mentioned are sent to everyone hundreds of times per day. This is a specific email from a legitimate company that I am affiliated with. The programs mentioned in the email are also "real". Not a typical spam email meant for everyone.

That seems odd. I've been a CB member for years and have not received anything like that.

Check the products you selected, see if they are banded in a group setting.

Rudy

Yes it is odd but legit email I have checked the products all legit as far as ClickBank is concerned and they are banded within the commission group setting as stated above. the question is why the products I never applied for nor even looked at until I got these emails that is the odd thing to be added to something I never applied for.

I don't get anything from them, Andre, but then I don't belong to clickbank. That is odd though.

Jeff

no probs Jeff at least you know if you do it is a scam but doubt that will happen to you when you are not with ClickBank
Enjoy your weekend

Anyone notice that the details of websites are not being displayed with Mozbar such as DA or the other details they had.?

I had always used the free version, but it works fine now. I checked again to be sure.
But! I had many times been in a problem with login in Moz (so normally I let it remember even so I don´t like that) in Chrome. Then I had done it in other browsers.

Thanks still not showing for me and yes also was using the free version this happen yesterday so not sure why some have it other don't.
Not to worry I am not going to bother trying to work it out too many important things to do and there are other ways to find the DA etc just this was easy and gave you a lot more.

Thank you

Andre

Hi Andre,
Just following up, Moz Bar is working for me, it is showing Domain Authority, Spam Score, links, etc.
I had to log in to it again to get it to show, even though I was already logged in. I am using the free version.
Is it working for you now?

Nope not working at all.

Not working for me. Maybe there's a conflict somewhere. I'm not too versed on these matters.

Thanks I did what I could to clean everything up but not showing anymore

hi
It isn't working for me either since yesterday, not sure what's going on

Thanks for the confirmation seems things have changed a bit not just here but outside the online world with free areas now charging.

Hey Andre,

You can go through Moz's troubleshooting page and see if any of these work:

https://moz.com/help/research-tools/mozbar/troubleshooting-mozbar

Another thing to look at is that Chrome extensions are very much plugins on our website.

Therefore, the more you have the "heavier" your browser becomes, plus some chrome extensions can conflict with others.

I know that I had to deactive a few extensions that I wasn't using regularly and then suddenly saw other extensions that hadn't been working for a while start working again.

I've just checked now I've got 10 active chrome extensions running, including SEO Minion, Keywords Everywhere, WhatsMySerp, Keywords Surfer, ChatGPT, etc and they're all running fine with no conflicts.

So, it could be a case of going through your Chrome extensions individually and deactivating them one at a time to see if there is a potential conflict.

Partha

Thank Partha hoping you would see this.

I took off SEO Minion, Keywords Everywhere, WhatsMySerp, Keywords Surfer, few days ago it Moz was working as normal.
I have logged into their site as I have an account but nothing there.

Are the DA and other details still showing for you. I might need to delete this all and work out if any of them are creating issues

Thanks appreciated.

I always keep my Keywords Everywhere topped up with funds anyway (although I haven't actually added any money to it this year, LOL).

But, as I mentioned to Jenny below, I'm not sure if Keywords Everywhere now requires the paid version, but as I've always had funds on the account, it works fine for me.

So yes, all DAs are showing in Google Search when using Keywords Everywhere.

As for the MozBar I have to be honest and say I've had it disabled for about 12 months now, so I really couldn't tell you whether it's working or not.

I would think that the MozBar should always remain free and should always work, simply because Moz have a huge range of other products and services that they monetize.

But, that's nothing more than a guess.

Partha

Thanks Partha I know with SEO Minion they now changed to a paid plan as of 1st June.

So now you need to get an API via keywords everywhere and go for the paid plan they have four types but the first one is useless

Sill trying to work out why it's not showing if not then so be it
thanks, all the same, enjoy the rest of your day.

Andre

Just deactivate MozBar and completely remove it from your Chrome Extensions, clear your browser history, and then download it again and see what happens (the Chrome Extension version of "turn your computer off and back on again" Hahaha!!)

i just added keywords everywhere back and saw that the DA is not part of the paid version that is why you can see it and I can't I was just using the free version.
Here are the details that explains why I thought it was Moz but it was keyword everywhere that was showing it. As i had them all

The free version has the following features

ChatGPT Prompt Templates: 200+ optimized prompt templates to help you get the most out of ChatGPT

Instagram Hashtag Generator: Generate the most popular hashtags for Instagram (no volume data).

Pinterest Insights: Search Insights, Trend Chat & Related Trends (no volume data).

The paid version has everything the free version has &

Search Volume for 20+ websites: Accurate monthly search volume, CPC, competition & 12 month trend data.

Traffic Metrics: View monthly estimates traffic & the top 10,000 keywords that any URL or Domain

Moz Link Metrics: View Moz Domain Authority, "DA Trend",

Spam Score, Total Referring Domains, Backlinks & more
SEO Metrics: SEO Difficulty, On-Page Difficulty, Off-Page Difficulty, Brand Queries & more.

YouTube Metrics: Search Insights, SERP Metrics, Video Insights & YouTube Tags.

Trend Charts: Historical volume data in the trend charts for Google & YouTube from 2004

Import Keywords: Import your keywords to see accurate monthly search volume, CPC, and competition for them.

Bulk Trends Data: Historical volume data obtained in bulk using Bulk Trends feature

Keyword Widgets: See Related keywords, People Also Search For (PASF) keywords & Long-Tail Keywords.

On-Page Analysis: Analyze any URL to get the list of keywords in the content of the page, and the density of those keywords
Competitor Gap Analysis: Find keywords that your competitors rank for, and which you do not.

Multiple Google properties: - Google Search, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Google Keyword Planner & Google Trends.

Multiple ecommerce websites: - Amazon, eBay & Etsy.

Multiple search engines: - Google, YouTube, Bing & Duck Duck Go.

Multiple tools: - Keyword Shitter, Soovle & Answer The Public.

Yes did that nothing changed so don't think I will worry about it.
Might look at paying for keyword everywhere and use that maybe will see.
thanks again

Woooow!!! LOL!!! I didn't actually realise there was that much to Keywords Everywhere, and the fact that it's now connected to ChatGPT and has it's own templates inside there makes Keywords Everywhere even more attractive than before.

Hmmm... sorry I couldn't help more, but as I say, i usually have the paid versions so I haven't noticed any "changes" recently.

No probs I know the keywords everywhere is in chat so that is good that part works so one day I might think about paid for Keyword the first ties doesn't link to SEO Minion so you need the second options onward to connect with SEO Minio via keywords everywhere.

Will think about I mostly use the DA and the keyword sites were ranking

i just found that if I go to this Moz link https://moz.com/domain-analysis it allows me to find the DA and some details of 3 domains per day with the free version the cheapest pro version is $99 per month so no way I am paying for that to get some details as before
