Understanding the Class Function Within Wealthy Affiliate

Did you know that the Class Function within Wealthy Affiliate has more benefits than you may realize? It's more than an Icon but one that can benefit you online.

So let’s go through the class functions step by step, and I will show you how to use the Class Feature found at the top of your menu and also how you can share it with others in the hope to gain referrals.

This is mainly for Premium and Premium Plus Members and can be of benefit to starters.

OEC and Affiliate Bootcamp

Premium and Premium Plus Membership

As you know being a premium or premium plus member you have much available here with the 50 lessons in the OEC course.

Then for those who wish to go the MMO (Make Money Online) way, you also have the added benefits of the Affiliate Bootcamp training of which there are 70 lessons there.

That gives you a possible total of 120 training lessons to get you started.

That is only just the beginning of the many forms of training available to you.

Starter Membership

For Starter members, you have the first 10 lessons available in the OEC training plus if you wish to go the MMO way another 10 lessons in the affiliate Bootcamp training

You also have an additional 4 videos available to you as well all for free with no credit needed.

But wait there's more!

Training From Fellow Members

So already premium and plus members have those 120 lessons but you have many training lessons from your fellow Wealthy Affiliate members.

So many come from various backgrounds and are willing to share the skills they have learned along their journey online but willing to help you go forward along the way.

That is one of the beauties of being a Wealthy Affiliate member being able to learn a vast amount of material other than the basic foundation given but also the community within is nothing short of amazing.

All you need to do is follow is click the training tab located on your left-hand main dashboard and see the various training available to you.

Hang on there’s more available?

We can’t have you walking around with just a handful of training that is not the Wealthy Affiliate way.

Just because you have gone premium or premium plus this doesn’t mean you can stop there.

No way, you have so much training that you would need a wheelbarrow to carry it home if you could or at least a truck.

Then you have the big one;

Live Webinar training.

Here you have live training by the many experts in the field of affiliate marketing.

This comes from our fellow members, who happen to be Super Affiliates within the industry of Affiliate Marketing.

They have learned so much along with their own journey many of who have been here almost from the start of Wealthy Affiliate back in 2005.

Some may have come later yet managed to make that famous trip to Las Vegas that Wealthy Affiliate offers to all their successful members.

Who knows you could be the next super affiliate.

All of the super affiliates started just like you and me without any or no knowledge of affiliate marketing but when they applied and learned from Kyle and Carson grew their own individual online businesses to where they are now.

Now they are living a lifestyle they dreamed of.

No not the fake Lambos, Mansions or Yachts, etc., that you see with that fake quick rich money-making crap.

They earned their rights to be successful legally and ethically in helping that certain group of people looking for something specific to their needs.

I would that’s why I went to Premium Plus to gain the maximum benefit to help me grow online and will continue to grow to learn from these greats of the industry.

So will you, but you need to follow what you are taught and apply the teachings just as you have in the other training lessons given to you.

The best way to learn is to visually see what is being taught follow by examples so you don’t miss out on how it works.

You can just see it in action..

When there is training on, you will normally see the Streaming now icon.

Unfortunately, some may come to the Wealthy Affiliate site a bit late and then click the icon only to find out they missed the live training yet again.

Not to worry as we know there will be a replay to the live events but if you want to see it live in action in the future along with being involved in the training chat area then keep on reading.

Just an added point here when in the live training class.

Also, note that the chat you see when you are in a live class is not the same live chat you would normally see during normal times.

Some members think it is the same but it isn’t then wonder why no one is able to read their questions or comments or for some why can’t they view the training.

That is because you are in the wrong chat and need to be watching the training to comment there.

It has happened before and no doubt will happen again once in a while.

Sure there may be times you are in one part of the world and the live training might be in the early mornings your time.

So if you have to go to work or need to catch up on some else like sleep then the second-best option is to just wait for the reply usually available within 24 hours later.

Never fear Apache1 is here! Well, I can’t say Batman is here that is already taken by Eric Cantu LOL

So before we discuss the Live Training part this leads me to the main topic of this post.

This is the big one as Jay would say the Plethora of training available will take you so much further for your benefit online.

The main area will show you more than the what, who, how and whatever for the training itself.

There is more than meets the eye using this awesome function.

So to give it the credit it deserves let's first look at the various features then together we will go through the various training lessons and also how you can benefit from your blogging as well.

Understanding the Class Function within Wealthy Affiliate.

First, know the sections of the classes and what they mean for you.

This will make it easier to find what you are looking for.

There are three main questions one may ask?

1) When is the Training Class available?

2) What is the training about?

3) What can I do to not miss out on the live webinar?

Ok let’s cover all three with a few clicks of a button and all will be revealed for you.

There are other ways but this is the best and easier way to go about this.

Step one

Click classes at the top menu as per the image below

This will take to you to the classes’ page with various options which will answer the three questions above.

Once you click classes a new screen will appear.

On the left, you will see the first section which is Dashboard as shown below.

The second is Subscription as shown below

The subscription section shows any upcoming subscriptions

Along with the third section which is History.

Dashboard

Within the Dashboard, this will show you what is already available for you to watch depending on your membership along with how many are there.

For Starter members reading this, you will notice there are 4 added videos available for you for free to watch and I highly recommend seeing these to benefit you more.

For Premium and Plus members here you have those numbers to watch either past or future ones with more to come as the year goes by.

Subscriptions

This section shows you any upcoming subscriptions along with past subscriptions as shown in the image above.

Pretty straightforward and basic to use but the calendar is useful which I will discuss shortly below.

History

The third section is the History which gives you a list of all past training that has been done but rather than having a calendar like the first two sections, you have the search box similar to the magnifying glass you see on your main menu of Wealthy Affiliate.

Here it starts with the most recent training about to happen and as you scroll down the previous training appears.

Should you want to scroll down all the way to the bottom don’t bother.

I did that for you already and it takes you to November 2020 which would be the first class of Premium plus and most likely when this feature was created.

As you can see there are various ways to find the date of the training and when the classes are available which takes us to the next feature which is very important and beneficial for you.

The Calendar

Here are some very useful features one of which I only just found out while writing this post.

The Calendar itself is found in the first two sections just discussed above, Dashboard and Subscriptions you have the Calendar appearing for you.

You will notice the year date which has a down arrow.

Clicking on the down arrow will take you to the months of that year.

This way you can go to the particular month which will show you the dates of the particular webinars according to the icons of your membership.

Again there is the left and right arrow this takes you to future years or previous years, another way to check what was shown during that time.

For example, if you go back to 2020 in October you will only find Premium Classes and the Premium Plus webinars didn’t start yet.

They started in November of that year as shown in the two images below.

Ok, back to the current month April 2022

The next part also is dependent on using the calendar which is really your CenterPoint for all training classes.

This combines with the first two questions of the when is the training on but also what is the training about?

When is the training on

This is pretty much self-explanatory so not much to say apart from clicking the actual date which leads us to the next question.

What is the Training About?

As you can see you have the crown which denotes premium plus training of which there are heaps for the month.

Remember as Premium Plus members you have an added 252 live training webinars alongside your regular 52 training webinars each year you get as a premium member.

That is why you see more crowns over the blue diamonds.

For Premium members most of the blue diamonds will appear on the Saturday dates which are mostly Jay’s Premium training.

Occasionally you will see some others within the week as in this case there was one on the 6th of April which was training done by Kyle.

This is where the calendar comes in handy in many ways.

When you click a date let’s say for a premium member, the next one as of writing this is on the 9th of April 2022.

The following will appear below

Now you know the title of the training and what is it about plus who is the trainer, in this case, Jay.

Alongside that, you have a view details which gives you an insight into what is covered in this particular training class.

So this topic is the Basics of a Blog Post and now you can see what you will learn during this lesson.

Just below the above image comes the other part which shows you all the classes that relate to the current series of the training.

You can click on each class which again will show you what that particular class will talk about.

Also as you click the view details on the left of the screen you will see the title image that will also show you the time is it on, depending on where you are in the world.

In my case, as I am in Australia I will see this on the 9th at 10.00 am during my local time.

Your time will be different depending on where you are in the world.

I will shortly mention another part dealing with this time function later.

You will also see a description of what the training is about.

Does this look similar?

If you think about it this is not much different to what your blog post would look like except perhaps the time aspect.

You have the title, follow by an image then underneath that you have the description.

The other part which gives you a rundown of what is covered is the same as if you had a TOC (Table of Contents)

As this is a video, this covers the main body of the article; at the end, you have the comments section.

Not really much different again to your posts.

Now we get to the final part.

What can I do to not miss out on the live webinar?

Here is where the other area of time will come in although I can't show you a screenshot now as it only will appear closer to the time of the training but you will see it then.

To avoid missing out on the training or not remembering when it starts.

This is where the important part of the classes can help you out.

Towards the middle part on the right side, you will see two parts,

View Training profiles and See more classes at the moment both take you to the same page.

This shows you who is the trainer giving the classes along with the skill they have to offer and how many classes they taught for the year, along with the amount of series provided.

The other part which is of more importance just below the view classes as shown below will show you how many have already registered to this particular class along with a subscribe to Watch button.

This is the button you want to click if you do not want to be left out or tend to forget when the class will begin.

All you do is click the Subscribe to Watch and it will turn to say Success you are subscribed.

You will also notice a difference between the two both to subscribe and you are subscribed in the latter case now you have an added option to add this to your Google calendar if you wish.

Click that and it will open up to Google Calendar and will look similar to this but with your own email so you can be notified.

But WA normally lets you know both in your given email along with at the top of the normal menu will give you an icon message saying classes begin soon that is if you subscribed.if not subscribed then you will see that original icon showing streaming soon or streaming now if it started.

So don’t overlook all the features available here and make sure you subscribe asap so you don’t get left out in the cold again.

One final note the last part you see below is "Share With Friends". clicking this section brings you to a starter image with your own affiliate link given.

Here you can simply click the copy link and send it to who you wish or add this link to your blog post and if you have pretty links use that to shorten the link to make it look well prettier.

The link below is mine but it is not complete hence some have been removed for security reasons.
