Starter theme options Oh There are no options
Recently there have been a few questions I have noticed about why can't I find the other themes as a starter or there used to ne 12 now there is only one.
I have responded to this a few times to those questions as has another member as well. Thanks Dianne (DianeScorpio) for giving the correct details.
Still there seems to be confused by premium many still believe what they had when they starter is still the same.
Remembner WA moves forward and we have seem many awesome changes over the years which still amazes us with what this platform offers especially for premium members.
Now it is the Starter Members turn once there were 12 themes a starter could have a choice of nbut now there is one one which is the default GeneratePress theme.
This thems has many features WA believe suits all especially Starters
If you don't believe me go to the first lessons we all started and scroll down to the question section you will find one question that was answered by Dianne and a further question further below with a offical response from Kyle.

Kyle Premium Ambassador a day ago There used to be 12 a few weeks back, but we have moved to ONE theme for consistency and to also improve things such as speed, security and also we have chosen one of the best themes out there as the "free" theme.
It is a win/win.
Have nothing further to add except hopefully we can get some officiel post from either Kyle or Carson. I have also asked at lesson one to have this updated which you can also do at the top right where it states request an update

I need to update my WA review then.
I was using a different themes before-- I like "pretty" website.
But after watching Jay's webinar (I forgot the title though) where he mentioned Generate Press, I immediately changed my theme and noticed the significant change with my site speed.
So, the theme is actually good for starters.
I just hope, they (Kyle&Carson;) make an official annoucement regarding this.

At least now you know this is not wrong as you stated earlier with what Keishalina9 mentioned in her question.
Starters now have a default theme in GeneratePress to work on while Premium still have the thousands to choose from if they wish.

You are right. Changes keep happening and this particular one saves a lot of time for beginners who keep trying many themes before picking one.
Thanks Ahimbe, This should save a lot of headaches for starters on which theme should they go for in the beginning. This way they can focus on their content more than which theme to use.

Thanks for sharing Andrej, I didn't realize there was a change but I can see that this is a good thing. GeneratePress is an excellent theme that should help simplify things for the starter member as well as give them the best theme to start with.
