I know this won't go well with many here and I don't really care.

Yes for many this week is a special and holy week with Good Friday that just passed and Easter Sunday to come shortly.

I do hope you enjoy your day whether you celebrate this occasion or not.

However, there are rules to be obeyed here within WA one of them is not to post-religious content as that is against the rules.

Rule 15: No Faith or Religion Based Posts

I can understand it is your faith and you a strongly passionate about it but rules are rules and they are there for a reason just like the other rules so take some time to read them and take note of what is not allowed.

This may help you from being banned from posting for a while or worst if you keep at it.

No, I am not against the Faith of God, Jesus Christ, etc I believe in that but I don't post religious propaganda as some have here.

This has been happing for a while not just now because it is Easter.

What is worse is that many members are participating in giving thanks to the post but don't let them know it is against the rules.

Make me wonder who is worse the poster or the reader.

So stop posting this I am sure if someone posted a religious post with another faith many so-called Christians would be the first to mark it as spam.

Take serious time to read the rules of WA

if you have something to say about your religion and what to share then use your website not here.

    Here it is

If you don't like what I have said above and you follow me you are welcome to unfollow me and be the end of that.

I really don't give a @@@ what you think or feel about what I said.

    End of story

I have written posts on Motivation, Encouragement and drawn references and characters from the Bible. That does not make them religious articles. We need to be careful in applying this rule so we do not stifle creativity
Bottom line: As long as I can wish my fellow WAmembers Happy Easter without fear of being censored, I am satisfied.

Quoting the bible makes it religious in nature

Question has been answered by Catherine enjoy your week ahead.

No, it has not been answered, Andre. With all deference to Catherine, it is comparable to saying that a reference to Napoleon Bonaparte in a motivational post makes it a historical!l piece!

I have no more to add to this and it has been answered by Catherine if you want further clarification contact Kyle

I agree with you, Andre. I have noticed a lot of religious symbols and posts lately, even more so now with the Easter holiday upon us.

When I see religious posts, I do not read them. Not because they are offensive to me in theory, but because they are not allowed on this platform. In other circumstances, I am interested and enjoy discussing religious ideas, but not on WA.

I don't consider people sending holiday greetings, such as Happy St. Patricks Day, Thanksgiving, Hannukkah, or Chinese New Year, Happy Easter, or Merry Christmas--- without a lot of religious overtones ---to be a breach of WA rules. To me, that's just a thoughtful way to tell each other that we are thinking about them during a holiday season. But maybe I should check with Kyle and Carson on that one. What are other community members' views on this?

You are right...those of us who are not newbies and are more familiar with the WA rules for posting need to be more conscious of breaches of the rules. I feel that it's our responsibility to point this out to members who might not be aware that they are doing something that is verboten, as you just did in this post. I know I'm guilty of thinking "that isn't supposed to be on here", but not taking the time to remind the author of the rules.

I think that this rule was written for a very good reason. We are an international community with many varying cultures and religions. My specific religious/ spiritual life is very important to me, and my beliefs are mine alone. I don't want or need to be proselitized by anyone else.

In my opinion this type of post has nothing to do with building the business, answering questions, or helping others who are stuck in their training or having other issues and need assistance.

I believe that spiritural/religious beliefs are a very specific part of a person's make up. Although some religions preach that their believers must convert others to their dogma, I agree with Kyle and Carson that this verbiage has no place in our community posts.

Where do I find the WA Rules for Posting?

I have provided the link in the post

      Thanks Carol very much appreciated.

      Have a great week ahead.

Oops! Guess I was having a senior moment, or was it becuz I was so tired??!

All good Carol I have plenty of the moments too.

      Enjoy your week ahead

Take it easy, dear friend. Mother Meador has spoken!! (That's what my patients used to call me when they thought I was being over protective.) I probably was, but in my 25 year carreer, I never had anyone fall!

      Thanks Ma catch you later

      TeeHee!

      😁😎😁

I think you are right, but I must admit that I do respond positively to the posts and like them basically for the effort because I think the heart and mind is in the right place. I think that these posts are designed to help make business better despite the religious bent. However, I do drop a note and mention the rule about religion and politics.

Thanks Jim enjoy your week ahead.

Religion and faith post been going on for years even now that that platform has gotten so big with so many members and it seems like that rule been not throughly enforced as other rules are.

You can blame the owners for that because they aren't strict about that rule they let it slide Kyle said if do that we will lose so many members so they let that rule go and is ignored since its not hurting anyone. We have all people from many walks of life who have different spiritual paths and different religion aspects even you have talked about your spiritual journey even that is considered a religion in some form no matter what you call it.

I do not celebrate Holidays, Easter, Christmas or any other Holiday and birthdays, other people do. I ignore and do not respond because its a moot point they aren't gonna get the write ban for saying that. That rule is not throughly enforced if you want it enforced good luck with trying to convince Kyle and Carson about it and we will see members leave and the platform will get smaller so think about that.

Members who have been here a long time know its a moot point.

I read your thoughts but then again you shouldn't post your spiritual journey with the meditations -you do that in many of your posts and for some people’s point of view including mine it is is a religion thing, you can dispute it all you want but it is not gonna change thing. Good luck with that.

The other kind of trolls that you and I and others detest are serious rule violations. Those who do not follow the other rules can get the write ban or a post removed.

The owners are not gonna ban people for a religion post I stated then that should be modified in fact I feel it needs to be revamped. The Spam No No rules at Open Wealthy Affiliate Education Project is old and outdated and needs to fit with today’s problems with many different rule breakers that the trolls get away with.

      Loved the honesty Brenda.

Plus, I agree. There's a lot of "let's not rock the boat" and "I'm doing it to appease people" that goes on.

I won't say anymore in fear of letting my mouth run off with me, LOL.

      Partha

      Thank you Brenda

You can always PM Kyle or Carson about the rules and if you feel they are to blame let them know your thoughts.

Enjoy the rest of your week ahead.

Already been there and done that. It is what it is and stated, they not plan to ban people on religion post or a Holiday post in reference to religion, otherwise we’d lose many members if they did that. I did suggest that the rules need to be re-edited and revamped. Im not the one who is kvetching about it, seems to me you can't do a thing about it, and if you have issues you can talk to Kyle and Carson. You have been here much longer than I have so maybe they’d listen to your complaints about rule #15.

I merely stated that one of the rules has been broken which it has.

If they don't want to do anything about it as you stated yourself then so be it.

I'm not the one who is kvetching about it.

Nor am I the one saying Kyle or Carson are to blame as you have.

I am not against what is said in these posts. I did not create the rules either.

You are more than welcome to unfollow me if you wish and leave it at that.
I have no more comments to reply on this

Thanks have a nice day and week ahead.
