Happy New Year 2021
Hi All
Just a short one today here in Australia; it is already the 31st. I know for some, you have some hours or at least a day to go.
I just wanted to wish all my friends a Happy New Year; stay safe and respect any rules during this uncertain time we have all been facing.
In Australia, our world-famous Fireworks are going ahead, but all have been advised not to go and party along the foreshore as in other years due to Covid.
For those who are going to be there a special permit pass is needed as the roads by now are already blocked as usual for this time.
We have been told to stay home, watch the fireworks from home, and not need to go out to stay at home.
Currently, we are on restrictions of only having five visitors to a home. I would be out with friends at their home for the evening along with my wife, so there will only be 5 of us. So that is good; otherwise, if there were more, I would have stayed home.
Personally, at this time I would prefer to be at home anyway, but plans have been made, and other friends who were going to be there have been told they can't come due to the restriction which only changed a day ago, so it is only the two of us along with our host.
I guess I am lucky to have such good friends who want us there instead of celebrating with them.
The good thing we are only 10 minutes drive away from each other, another great thing.
Police have stated they will be patrolling venues and intend to be knocked at homes to ensure the rules are kept; otherwise, there is a $1000 fine.
We may not like many restrictions, but it is there to keep us safe from any health issues and more.
So for those depending on where you are in the world, please take extra care and use plain simple sense; it only takes one person to infect others.
Besides that, I just wanted to wish you all a very Happy New Year may; the stars look upon you favorably not just for the evening but forever moving forwards.
Thank you also to those who replied to me on my last blog, and I have replied even if just a thank you as I don't feel like adding much more to that.
Thank you also to Kyle and Carson for what you have given us this year; in fact, you never cease to amaze us with what is given and added to our awesome membership every year.

We have moved from Tier 2 to the more stringent Tier 3 (out of 4) and that came into play last night at 12.
Unfortunately, there are still those who feel that the rules don't apply to themselves and as such, they will perpetuate the virus longer than it needs to be.
If we all, without exception, stuck with it, then I am sure we could get on top of this, once and for all.

Wishing you a Happy New Year when your time comes, yes, restrictions are in place around the world but it is for our and others good, long term.
Totally agreed with you there are those who feel they are above the rest and it is those that create more havoc and more restrictions because of them.

Happy New Year, Andre! You got there much earlier. Thank you for your advice on safety protocols. They have been put in place for our own good so we should observe it.
The Golden State where I reside is under a lockdown because of the Thanksgiving Pandemic surge. I intend to spend New Year at home with my immediate family.

Yep I have a countdown of many places around the world on my computer and your states for New York is 2 hours 17 min maybe 16 now while I am writing this.
