Happy Mothers Day 2022
Today it is the 8th of May 2022 and wishing all a Happy Mothers Day
Just wanted to take some time out to wish All Mothers a Happy Mothers Day
Yes I know in some countries Mother's day is celebrated at other times some also call it International Woman's day.
Despite the date here in Australia and also in many other parts of the world it is mother's day
A time to celebrate and recognize the hard pain and also the effort many mothers need to do to bring up a child into this world.
Extra thanks
A bonus thanks to all mothers who need to take care and put up with that other grown-up child you didn't give birth to and the need to mother them as well.
So Prince thank your wife HAHAHA and send my commiserations to her. LOL She raised you well, most of the time
I would also like to wish the men who for whatever reasons may not have their partner here and would also need to step up and not only play Dad but also Mum.
This is also a recognition for you as well.
I just came back from the cemetery visiting my Mum and placed some flowers there but also Dad as he would have celebrated his 85th Birthday on the 6th of May
Regardless of the date know that you are loved and cared about and thank you for all you have done to help raise your child along their own journey in life.
You are awesome and always will be that awesome person in many life.
So to all the Mothers out there, Ii give you respect, thanks for being you and xoxoxoxo you deserve it and more

Much appreciated Andre, and we had a fantastic time (albeit too short) together..
Now, unfortunately it is back to normal routine, but I will do my upmost best to never let it get that long between visiting again (although restrictions meant that it was out of my hands)..

What a thoughtful post Andrej.
Both my mom and dad are busied in a cemetery in a small village in Canada where they lived the final happy years of their lives. After they retired, they wisely concluded that in order to be happy, they had to live far away from their kids so as to not be in a position to interfere in their lives. They sold their home in London and emigrated to Canada to retire.
This worked!
While there they created a whole new circle of friends and were loved in the village. Their funerals several years apart had packed the church.
Neither of them had any regrets. We, their kids, have been very fortunate to have had parents like them. We often told them how much we loved and appreciated all they did for us.

Thank you Edwin know that both your Mom and Dad are at peace in life and together eternally.
Both Mum and Dad had big funerals in fact the police were needed to control the traffic they were well known in the Slovenian community here in Australia.
So naturally more came to the church than they could handle many had to be outside due to the numbers.
That itself gave me, and my brother much pride seeing how many people paid their respects.
I even had 10 people from the job I was at when dad passed away and took some time of work to visit the church one was the General Manager, along with my manager and some fellow staff members so there wasn't going to be an issue with taking the morning off and coming late to work in the afternoon.
Mum passed at 50years of age Dad at 68 as I said in the blog Dad's birthday was a few days ago on the 6th of May. Mum will be on the 3rd of June next month/
So both would have been 85 this year.
Regardless, their ages don't matter anymore as they both have eternal youth on their side now and will always be in my heart and soul and beyond when I join them one day.
I learned so much from both and still cook some meals both Mum and Dad taught me.
