Well, for me, Christmas is done and dusted. Now time to get back to work online.

Up till 3 am on Xmas Day we all came downstairs to open the presents, I did get about 5 hours sleep.

A funny feeling, though, is your go-to bed in the early hours on Christmas Day; get some sleep and realized you are still on the same day when you wake up.

Did Christmas get an extension? That's how it feels, which is good anyway?

After the presents were opened and shared, my daughter went to bed (had about 4 hours of sleep), then early in the morning went to her boyfriend's place to open presents and share the Christmas spirit with his family.

Lunch

I did a BBQ for lunch both my daughter and her boyfriend came back here to have lunch and a couple of hours later went back to his family to have a second late lunch with them.

After eating lunch, both were full, so not sure how much they will be able to eat over there, but they will be there for a while.

We had our Christmas lunch all have eaten and now full.

My son works the midnight shift, so soon, he will be off to bed during the day to get some much-needed sleep before he starts.

Fortunately, work is only 5 mins drive from home.

My Daughter work at the same place different section, but she has an extra day off for here that is just as well. She starts at 5 am.

.

Back to work

Now that Christmas has been done and dusted.

It is 5.00 p,m now on Xmas Day here in Oz at the moment.

Everything has been cleared off the table; dishes washed and dried and packed away.

So no more to do downstairs. I am happy with that.

I am back at my computer (duh, obviously since I am writing this to you) and am starting to get around and looking at some posts and adjusting what adjustments or additions with the new version of AIO SEO, so that should take a few hours or so.

After that, I need to fix some new posts along with some added research, and hopefully, I am sure I will be able to help within WA where I can

Christmas finish???????

It is important to live too and we need all energy for the business and live.
I know you people don´t take a summer holiday in the USA which is strange for me, 2 weeks is not a holiday!

But even so, I turned on my computer and with a bad feeling to do it, I almost lost all my coffee when I saw in on the second day of Christmas and 11 important days left! Even so, we only have 5 days (24-26.12 and 31.12-1,1), plus weekends, holiday over the Christmas time here in Iceland it is family time.

Give you time to load the batteries and enjoy the time with family and friends.

I was not trying to be negative or boring, sorry, just was so surprised!

Thanks for your comment firstly I don't live in the USA I am in Australia.

We have Christmas day and the 26th Dec called Boxing day plus New year's Day which are public holidays for us the days in between we still work so not sure about this 2 week holiday you are referring to.

For me, the Christmas celebration was done nothing more to do than that. We already had our family time together which was great.

As I stated above each family member had other things to do after our family celebrations, people still need to go to work if they are required.

Life might be different in Iceland as you have your traditions that has been there for centuries with your 4 candles and other traditions but not all have the same luxury to take so much time around the world.

Nevertheless, I hope you are having a great Christmas with family and friends.

Wishing you well

Andre

Sorry, thought you were from the USA, I have always heard they have only 2 weeks' holiday. Here we have 6 weeks plus of course weekends and red days. Don´t call it a luxury, good for all to keep energy.
Anyway, have incredible many personal friends from Australia, special Melbourne, Canberra, and Sidney. Great country and people, and the movies are excellent.
About Christmas, it is not a luxury but a religious reason, like so many countries. Like I said, of these 13 days are only 5 holidays, plus weekends. But it is time for families and friends all these days and many events.
Have a great and relaxing Christmas!

Nice.

Thanks wishing you a wonderful Christmas enjoy
