Google Indexed My Posts- Wondering About Work Count Effect?
How many words do you need for a blog?
So Google can index it. Here is what I can tell you today.
I have no google fetch. I use All-In-One SEO
Here is my word count and blog indexing time
3100 words took 3 month
2300 words took 2 months
1800 waiting for 3 weeks to be indexed
970 got indexed within a week (This one is the highest ranking). It has a good title. Is it because of that?
My website got indexed in a week with my about me page and privacy policy.
No conclusion yet but this is what it is. I need more blogs for a stat.
What do you think?

Thanks for sharing this thought provoking article Anusuya!
there is an old saying that says: it's not how long you make it; its how you make it! The how you make it is the training on keyword placement in your content.
My advice is this: I dont like to write long content so i cant tell you about that. But i can tell you wa recommends 1,000 words. Also the guy i follow with backlinko recommends long post. You read about his techniques in my recent post.
But wa does go into depth on keywords. So if you have followed their training and done everything they said with keywords that will be thing big difference in what ranks.
If not there is your answer to your question.
I will tell you this, if you want to get traffic to your website from social media your content has to be something people want to share.
I hope this was helpful in some way.
Interesting question. I have always wondered about that. My post that gets the most traffic on my site is about 1150 words long. I think keywords and competition for those keywords is the biggest driving factor.
Interesting quantitative study, Anusuya ..... think it also needs qualitative as well >> proper use of keywords also likely helps ...
thanks kindly for sharing ... :)
Thank you, dear for taking the time to read and sharing your views. I am the only writer of my posts. I will assume similar quality for the writing. I will share more as I get more experience.
by the way, Anusuya, search engines use approx. 200-something factors to 'rank' .... so indexing is likely a lil' simpler ... :)
Hello, Anusuya, as you said on the 970 word article, you had a great title. You should come up with an awesome title with your rich keywords or keyword phrase in it, have the keywords in the first and last paragraph and if it fits put throughout the article but don't stuff the article with a lot of these keywords. That's what I do and I've got my articles indexed pretty quick, within about 3 - 5 days.

Hey dear,
Thank you for reading the post and sharing your thoughts. I use keyword or phrase in the blog title and 1st or 2nd paragraph as per Kyle's training. Not in the last paragraph. No keyword in the title elsewhere that I use.
Ok. I appreciate your reply. Yes I follow Kyle's training but I always subscribe to a couple of other companies' SEO training.

Some of your first posts may take a while to get indexed, just keep creating content and this should reduce down in time.
Mine are getting indexed within about 30 minutes but some of my first posts are still waiting to be indexed.
Be sure you are doing all the SEO steps so that your content can get indexed okay.
The amount of words shouldn't have any effect on getting indexed.
Trust this helps
Thank you for reading my post and sharing your insight.
There are numerous questions I have come across for word count requirement for a blog.
Indeed there are loads of different suggestions regarding word count.. as a rule I work on 500 plus and normally write around 1,000 to 1,500
That is the best way, but look at whether you could split some posts into separate articles. A 3,500 word article is great but if you can break into 3 articles you then have 3 pieces which you can link to each other and promote out.
There is of course no problem with long articles, so the choice is yours. Do which ever suits you and your niche.

You are right. I see slow improvements even if I try my best. But I can clearly see it will improve if I am consistent and put my soul into it.
