Business Card-How Can You Make it Interactive to Benefit Business?
What Information should one have for an interactive business Card? I am in the process of designing one. Of course, it depends on the type of business you are associated with.
I am blogging in health and wellness niche. These are the two I am considering.
I like to put my logo (maybe my picture), which I can add after finalizing the design.
I like to have it glossy for convenience in handing.
Here are my thoughts about the essential elements that can benefit my business through handing personally the business card.
First off. the card should not be cluttered with words. It is distracting and people will not read.
My name which people can easily recognize
- Name:
I like people to know me by Anu ( most of the people I know call me by that name) and I would have that in my card. My full name is quite long and it is hard for anyone to get familiarize with. It seems atypical though. I am considering to include my full name in parentheses.
- Business Affiliation:
My business would help them-So I write I am a blogger in health wellness niche. Rather than saying I am this and that meaning president, CEO or whatever.
- Contact information:
Provide ease of access telephone no. That is my business phone no and email
- Web address:
URL ( preferably short version so it is easy to remember)
- Social Media:
The ones I am most active with.
Do you like the top or the bottom cad or none?
What have you considered for yours?

Hello Anu!
I may be “old school “ but I definitely prefer the first one.
It is more polished and professional looking.
If you remove the word “niche” all the descriptive information would fit on one line.
I hope you find the perfect solution!

Dear KyleAnn,
Thank you so much for taking the time to read and suggest to me.
appreciate your help.
Hi,
Here is my advice, Definitely go for the name people call you by most often. Leave the other name off, they don't need it because a business card is designed and distributed so that people will remember and trust you.
Glossy is best when you have vibrant colours and lots of imagery. Having said that, you might want to look at card stock that has more texture to it. The card is quite simple so you want to get a sensory reaction somehow. A card that feels different than everybody else will stand out.
You may want to think about including a picture of yourself on your card so that people can connect the card to the lovely lady who gave it to them. Just a thought if you do decide to go glossy.
I feel the first card is more professional but both cards could work. I think the use of the word architecting is very weird. I would go with creating health and beautiful skin or use the term specialist instead.
If your website is set up here then you should be able to set up email accounts for your site. For example Anu@HealthHelmet.com.
This looks far more professional and creates confidence in you as a professional. You can then have WA forward the email to your gmail account.
I would do this

Or

I'm sure whatever you do your card will look great! I wish you all the best.
